Interesting book titles
« on: September 01, 2012, 08:38:58 pm »

Hello, former forum-lurker here and I found something that made me come out of hiding. In my most recent world the book artifacts many times have a title dealing with a similar theme: Humans.
My favorite titles so far are
" And they sang 'The Human'"
"The Human" Problems and Solutions"
"The Human Sweltering"
"Give me the Human"

And the all time favorite
"Errors in the Human"

It's about one, specific human. Probably the author, which makes the last tile even funnier.

"errors in the Human" would be a great title for a book arguing against the special creation of man by the gods, though.

The contents usually focused on one or two people from what i could tell but a majority of the 600 some artifacts are titled like this.

Well, Google doesn't seem to think it is.

Clearly, this represents six side-by-side wheelbarrows, as indicated by the right half of the icon.  The left half indicates they are carrying babies with hats in these wheelbarrows.

Presumably, they are lining up to dump them into the baby furnaces.

If I remember correctly, one of my worlds has a book named "Incinerated Dwarf", which naturally is an autobiography. Is Attaquery a person/place in your world maybe?

Attaquery sounds like a procedurally generated name.

Sounds like it was about two people.

Dwarves passing by get good thoughts from the mist of water and exploding felines.
Anyone of the equivalent to the royal bloodline in a nomadic group would have a sun tattooed on their hand, or a scrotum on their forehead (it's a little-known fact that fraternities are based off of long-forgotten tribes).
