The max range of fire is 15, and I think crossbows fire longer than that, but we can figure out ways around that.

I ended world gen at 499, and the fort will begin in 500.  I know that in other worlds some dragons are over 200+ years at year 5, so I would say a maximum of 700-750.

I don't know the differences, so surprise me I much prefer the thought of hive, but if citadel is what your going for, I'll go with that How do they grasp things though? Their front legs?

All grasp with their front legs except for the Amphitheres.  Those use their tails due to lack of legs.

Here is a (extremely basic) list of the types:

2)Frost: Looks like a European but breathes frost instead of fire.
3)Chinese: Average eastern dragon.
4)Korean: basically same as Chinese.
5)Wyvern: Think of the dragons in skyrim, but without the shouts.
6)Ascetic:  Tyranosaur-stance dragon.
7)Tibetan:  Four-legged dragon with no wings.
8)Lindworm:  Two-legged dragon with no wings.
9)Mexican Amphithere: Long-bodied dragon with no legs, but with two wings.
10)American Amphithere: Non-fire breathing Mexican Amphithere.
11)Marsupial: same look as the Ascetic, but with a pouch like a kangaroo.
12)Tasmanian: Koala-like dragon
13)Dwarf: Book-sized version of a European dragon
14)Bush: Book-sized version of a Wyvern
15)Humming: Hummingbird-sized version of a European dragon

Interesting Fact: I checked the elevation for the map, and the evil biome is uphill from the good biome.
