Doesn't realize my personal text refers to the abstract concept, the very essence of science. That can be capitalized, IIRC.
Looking up "is science a proper noun" gets me negatives across the board. It isn't describing a specific person, place, or thing, it's describing a general concept. Even referring to the definition that it's "using experimentation to prove or disprove hypotheses", which is the vibe I got off of "the abstract concept", doesn't count as a proper noun, it'd be like capitalizing "cooking".
