Intrigued by this odd object the ogre has created, Thanatos orders his imps to take it to one of the empty rooms and makes his necromancer experiment with it to find out its purpose. One of the imps shall also build a training chamber for improving their strength.
[3]The imps carry out their work quickly enough, but it seems your necromancer is going to need some time to figure this thing out. I mean really, he's a mage not an engineer!

SQUICKY USES HIS BLOBNESS TO FLOW AROUND THE BULLETS UNHARMED, THEN NOMSORBS SOLDIER THING.
[7]Soldier absorbed! Er. Wait. Something is wrong here... After several very disorienting moments, 'Squicky' realizes that it took over the soldier a bit too completely, and not only gained its form and memories, but now defaults to that form, instead of its own.

Awesome.  Send out on particularly charismatic soldier, and send him to find more recruits.  Spread tales of potential blood and wealth to any battle-tested soldiers in the surrounding area.
[5] Seems words has already begun to spread of your path of destruction, and within the day your band of bloodthirsty warriors has doubled in size! Which probably also means that the nearby settlements are a bit lacking in defenses now...

Thanatos shall order his ogre to create ACTUAL traps this time, while his Necromancer shall continue his magical studies. His imps shall build a tinkerer's workshop in one of the empty rooms in an attempt to lure some kind of mechanic into the dungeon. Also, check on the state of the prisoners.
