Actually... this isn't so bad. As long as noone gets too depressed, we're all fine!
Also, tempted to drown all the puppies.
According to dwarf therapist, 20 dwarfs are miserable or very unhappy... Guess I'll make them nice bedrooms. (hopefully dwarves won't start feigning depression in order to get better bedrooms.) I mean, they'll get over it, but I may as well.
Useless, but shiny.

Great.
She was easily dispatched, though.
13th Limestone
There weren't even any merchants there!
16th Limestone
I'm making a second food stockpile by the new dining hall, hopefully to make sure dwarves eat more prepared food.
25th Limestone
I have scrapped the bedrooms in favour of a different approach- ENGRAVE EVERYTHING.
4th Sandstone
Everyone too sad to be useful has been restricted to a burrow with some food and not much else until they get over it. Not sure if this is counterintuitive or not.
8th Sandstone
Wow, I sorta suck at this. *christens daughter FlickerFly Jr*
16th
Everyone who isn't depressed who's still in the depressed-people-area has been let out.
21st
Okay, the lock-everyone-in-a-room tactic seems to be working, except everybody is thirsty and I'm not sure how to get booze to them without letting dorfs in. "Garbage" chute?
26th Sandstone
A dwarf with a punctured lung and stomach just got up and is wandering around perfectly happily. Huh. *lost the screenshot*
5th Timber
Success!
There are now only 13 dwarves in the depressed-people-room, and most of them are insane.
18th Timber
I guess they were attracted by all the engraving I did to cheer the dorfs up...
And they brought giant bats.
I knew we needed a ceiling!
In other news, normal dwarves started tantrumming, so I had to lock them up again.
20th Timber
A SIEGE JUST STARTED IDIOT
25th Timber
Okay, so I might be panicking about the goblin seige... just a little... But at least it won't be my problem soon.
