Sooo... Does that mean it would be unwise to start a new game right now? Because I'm ITCHING to, but if the resulting saved game is going to be incompatible with the new version you're about to release, I'll just be patient for a little longer...

While I haven't actually made any of the changes to fix the bugs mentioned yet, I can't imagine them requiring changes to the save game format.

I tried replacing the department store XML, but nothing happened and I still ran into the same problem. But don't hold me to any results, as I pretty fucked something up as always :/

Care to tell me how you implemented it?

Worst-case scenario is that we mung the file and you'll have to download a fresh version; or, you might help generate a clear HOWTO for XML work.

I copied your new version, went into "deptstore" with XML Notepad, closed the top drop down tab, and deleted everything like that, and then pasted your code into it's place. Every other aspect of the store still works, but the hardware problem still remains.

Never used XML Notepad.  Will look into it; Notepad++ works well for me and I'd recommend using it.  Thanks for the report though.

Seems overly obvious, but thought I'd check--you did save the file and then close/reopen LCS afterward?  I don't think the XMLs are real-time hotfixable.  (XML Notepad appears to be a Microsoftproduct, so I think I'll stick with N++.)

Huh, just completely destroyed the CCS by force, as opposed to exposing them to the public and causing them to disband.
I haven't done that before! I actually didn't intend to, my highly-trained team of death merchants were just amusing themselves (and harvesting ammunition!) by tracking them down and slaughtering them.
This current game is getting quite ridiculous. I have two fortified safehouses with enough heavily-armed defenders that I can just mow down the police/soldiers the moment they show up to try and besiege us.

Although I have skilled, important liberals (writers, hackers, some drug dealers etc) doing their thing in one safehouse, whilst the other one generally just lays low. I use the second one more-or-less as a trap, luring soldiers in and weathering the siege until they attack, and then killing them all to get their ammo. (Since you can't collect the ammo from dead soldiers if you kill them before they lay siege!)

It's funny, at this point I am actually intentionally doing things to weaken the liberal agenda, such as gunning down neutral people in raids and shooting cops when they try and arrest people, simply to prolong the game. Before long I should have enough mooks to fortify a third safehouse...

That glitch has already been reported, and there is a code fix by KA101 a few pages back.

Thats Foxes and KA101's job. Im sure they'll update it whenever they can.
