Bert "Broom-Broom" McBroom, Elite Liberal and founder of the LCS, walked into the bank unarmed and wearing nothing but a sharp black suit. Five minutes or so later, he had grabbed a bank manager, shoved them through into the back room before security could react, tapped into the security and opened the vault.
He stuffed his pockets full of cash, dodged several security teams, and left.

...Rinse and repeat that a few times, and the squad's getting pretty well-off.

Get an expensive suit and do all of that, except take all the money. Then when swat teams [probably several] storm in convince them you're supposed to be there, then leave with no crisis at all. Much safer and easier. My leader has never once been shot at because I work on Persuasion, Seduction, Stealth, and Disguise first. Then security and computers. Before I do anything illegal with the leader he's typically in the 120+ skill range. By the point where you can buy/acquire most clothing in the game, someone with 10 disguise is untouchable.

They give a significant bonus to stealth skill. Most clothing with "stealth", "ninja", or "black" in the name has this benefit; a few high-end ones are especially powerful.

Things to publish are way, way too easy to stockpile anyways. If you have one single decent hacker you can get tens or hundreds of items to publish within a year.

I'd say, lower the rate on being able to get items from hacking alone. You should have to at least risk something if you're getting such valuable information which shoots public opinion in your direction. I can get thousands of backlogged evidences of things with no reason to use them, since 3 or 4 special editions on a certain topic can make public opinion 100% L+. Not to mention the other ways to procure such things. I go to the pawn shops to sell <10 of each item at a time, just to keep it from cluttering the inventory.

They should be much harder to get and therefore the impact they have is more tangible, instead of running yet another special edition, which is how it feels right now. As it is, in theory you could have a two-person team, one hacker and the other a writer, constantly putting out special editions and win the game. But I don't do that since having a massive organization is too fun.

I would suggest that many more opportunities to use hacking on site options are added, with the secret documents offloaded to these opportunities.

Is it just me or the new bank / power plant maps have no borders, making it very confusing as well as segfaulting the game in some cases?

EDIT: The power plant map too?

EDIT 2: You can't always leave the map, but trying to get a strange piece of loot may segfault it.

In fact, they aren't. When you visit the location, you are, by default, inside it. (And exiting through the "EXT" areas.) Having 80x25 squares of empty space _inside_ a bank or a power plant makes no sense.
