So let's go on into the red streetlight world and see what else is in there. But wait, I realize I've forgotten to check the TV, and head back into the nearby door into the dream room. But the curtains are drawn on the back sliding door here, and the computer is gone. there is a console there too. Hhhhhuh. Has the game been hiding this in the door I never thought to turn around and check? Wow. Well, let's poke around. Interacting with the TV here just makes a copy of our screen with a green 5 in the upper corner appear. There's also a shadow woman up near the curtains. You can also sleep in the bed. I'm sure there's an event hidden in that somewhere. Now, let's get to the interesting thing, the console on the floor.
Interacting it makes the sound skip briefly but then boots up a game that appears to be called yume.... something ouki? Not sure. Hard to make out. At any rate we go into the game with very discordant, unsettling noise. the charactert is urotsuki in a penguin suit. We can walk to the left and right but there's nothing much there but little stick figures running around. They don't hurt us. We slide on our belly down slopes. I quickly find out the only way out is to wake up, so I do so. She turns towards the screen, says something I can't understand in japanese, and then the screen goes blue. We wake up. I go back to sleep, and check the TV and find a
"tanasinn" wallpaper, which is a 2chan meme. The TV is mostly red with a yellowish stripe running through it. I know this from internet. I head back because I wanna try the bed again, and in trying to find another effect in the menu, I end up finding the penguin effect! Apparently we got it from interacting with the console. Holding action makes her slide forward on her belly. Adorable. Anyway seriously back to that room. I find out here that the door that takes us back into the place we start from and get to the nexus in initially every time we sleep, and the door we use to get into the dream apartments are entirely different. crafty fellers.
Sleeping in the bed does nothing. I also fiddle with the TV a bit, but the shadow lady never does anything interesting. I head out the door back into the nexu- wait no, we're in a hallway. Apparently the hallway of urotsuki's dream apartment. Well huh. One of the rooms out here is too dark to see in, but as you leave a bunch of black and red things appear to be crowding around urotsuki. Then it boots us back to the hallway. The other two doors are the same room, with stacked chairs and desks everywhere, and an, as of yet, inaccessible door. Another room has a giant red tendril coming out of the back wall, and a lady walking around with a simplistic fetus in her. Huh. The room is filled with water and the doors also look like hospital sliding doors. In another room we find a bunch of pedestals with things symbolising our effects on them. Effects we don't have have an empty pedestal. There's a rainbow for rainbow, a little penguin for penguin etc. I bet I know where one of the endings is occuring! Another room has a blue haired kid in a room with a blue floor and green walls. It's quite bright colored. Music has little "tinktink-tink" noises backed by a tense buzzing noise. We talk to the feller. Talking does nothing, and the telephone makes him spin around. Chainsaw just kills him, but he moves very fast when you have it equipped, so it's hard to catch him with it. A door in the back leads us to the grey maze area with the faces from way back in the first update, it eventually takes us to a dark watery area. We enter a door up north and end up back in the room. Huh.
The "front door" with slippers by it takes us back to the nexus. I head back in because there's another floor left. And there is a girl with enormous spikey hair stretching across the room, with some of it pinned to the walls. The girl is sitting against the wall, and there are two giant razorblades on both sides of her. Interactions begin now. Telephone does nothing, interacting does nothing, chainsaw kills her andm akes all her hair and te pegs in the wall vanish too. Huh. The next room has a little cloud dude, and an ideallyic house. Little table, picture, oven, sink etc. yellow "nucleus" and blue "cloud". The music is a simple tune, it's nice. Telephone freaks him out and makes him run off. Chainsaw, well, I can't bring myself to do it , what can I say. We leave. The last door takes us to a hallway filled with more doors. Fantastic.
The first door takes us to the art gallery and I beholder bomb back and make my way back. I head into a few new rooms but all of them are areas I have to bomb back out of. Until I enter a room that takes me into a world of hands and blood stains. The hands are groping at the air, and there is an awful lot of vagina lookin things around here. I'm inclined to think it might be the intention this time, doubly so because I found a stake or something pounded through one. Yeugh. I wander around, listening to the harsh buzz that they use as music and eventually find an open mouth doorway with bleeding eyes. There are also a lot of faces here. In we go.
YAAAGGHHH JESUS, it starts screeching very wild and unpredictable music into my headphones and there are a ton of little one eyed dudes scrambling around erratically. I take my headphones off and continue. Nothing in here, go fig. Telephone doesn't do much. Or anything, really. I leave and find a green stick man. What's your thing little fella.
He takes me to a psychadelic area, bright colors random mixtures etcetc. We wander. The music is like, three, very quiet guitar notes. I wander the hallway and eventually see a bit that breaks up the pattern. We know what to do with that. Chainsaw the sucker. It opens a door, and there's a rainbow flashing stick figure clutching a tuba. We get the tuba effect from him, it's like the headphones or whistle.More wanderings reveals various rooms filled with chomping mouths. They'll take me to a dead end if I get caught, so I avoid them. One room has a ton of narrow hallways, with fast moving mouths in it. I try to make my way all the way in, but get caught. Dagnabbit. Back into the breech. In the black and white hallway I end up in the giant streets area again. Hmmm. Let's roam. We find two bike racks one space apart from each other. In we go! We end up in front of a building.
In the first room there's a blue bird dude sittin there. He makes a water drop sound. In the background there's a giant bathtub and whirling clouds of... something. There's also a fountain, we interact and get taken to a watery world. We leave briefly. the next room has a chubby fella lying on the ground with bizzare music playing. He makes a peeping noise. We leave after nothing else is found. Annnnd the final door takes us up a tower, nothing at the top. In the hallway before the top though, there's a water fountain we can interact with to make.... water fountain noises. The music here is very peaceful. Back to the fountain fountain.
In the water world we've got a bunch of pillars and potted plants. Also rocks. The entire place is covered in water as you'd expect, as well. There are two notable things, a statue of a clenched fist, and a statue of an open hand. Nothin much else, really. I wake up.
