I just had the idea for a new skill, "Weapon Craft." A skill for making guns and ammo for a price, like clothes. Maybe even a new location, something called "Gun Factory," or something. There you could find an item called "Scrap Metal" or whatever, and that would recude the price of making a gun or ammo, like fine clothe to clothes. Also there you could find people that you can release that start off with some weapon making skills. This just a basic idea I came up with a few seconds ago, so sorry if this sucks.

i guess its a bit OP , i support only explosive crafting .

The issue is that it is quite a bit tougher to make guns then it is to make clothes.

It'd be cool if you could craft home-made gun that would have crappy stats in order to get started. Or ammunition, but with a risk of misfiring.

The biggest problem I see with this skill is that it glamorizes guns.  Remember, the LCS only use firearms out of necessity: They are actively fighting to outlaw all firearms.

But other than that, I like crafting stuff.

Also, related, but you shouldn't be able to sell weapons when gun laws get below a certain level.

The LCS use firearms for satirical reasons.

I guess making them would sort of go against that... since the fact that they can so easily get weapons is sort of... you know the point

If they could just make them themselves then it wouldn't be a conservative failure.

Come to think of it, taking the Medic's Syringe gun or Marian's Magic Shooter (Rune Factory 3) and giving everyone "shots" would be a great way to get drug rights up.

Also, it'd be cool to have concealed guns, guns that look like torchlight or something, that could give a disguise bonus.

I know it sounds OP, but now that I thought about more, I got a few more ideas. To build guns or ammo, you need to buy a special machine for both in the Invest menu, each 3000$. So the cost of four M16s just to start crafting crappy stuff until you start getting your skill up.

What's the point? By that time, you're usually swimming in ammo rather than not.

You can buy a TON of ammo for $3000.  Now special ammo, that could be interesting...
