Ok, took a look into it. Not bad, very self-sufficient fortress. But soo dull! Time to make some crazy machinery!

BTW, did anyone noticed that there are carps knocking in our floodgate?

And several more are up the tunnel. Oh carp...

I just saw a guy with two broken legs push a minecart with a corpse in it. Yeah.

They went into it after I released the water, I bet if we opened the floodgate, we could air-drown the carp in there and have lots of food

We need a kitchen in our workshop area, itll fix all our needs for diversity... And we SHOULD have other food, he a vegitarian or something? Or did you guys make the hunter STOP hunting? Bolts shouldn't be an issue since I made like 10000 or so (I left the craftsdwarf workshop on repeat for bone bolts my entire year starting in mid summer/early fall and kept going unless one of you shut it off) Also we should have him as a pretty damn good shot, I saw him as a skilled marksmen last I checked...

It's the booze. They need more non wine booze. I set some sweet pods into rotation, and am growing some whip zines, but it's not enough.

I built a new food preparation area near the new food stockpile in the new dining room, as well as meat related industries.

I set the bottom farms to cave wheat and sweet pods, how do we NOT have cave wheat to make dwarven rum?

peregarrett, you still with us? Haven't heard from you in a bit... I'm really hopeing for something eventful (hopefully an ambush). Also I forgot to mention I actually searched the map and found there is ABSOLUTLEY NO WAY WE WILL FIND ELVES :'( Theres a big mountain that literally splits the world in two, the south and the north. I'm thinking of implimenting into this into an added story... Maybe even figuring out how to mod the overworld to see if we can destroy part of the world so we can start havoc with the elves... BUt I think that might kill the save... And I found out that the elves have a problem with megabeasts and Humans have a vampire living under their capital with a HUGE army of goblins and elves. Oh, and no dwarven settlements at all on the map except ours, but that was already stated in the OP... I'm unsure of Goblin settlements, which COULD explain the lack of ambushes... I also think theres a Koblad settlement somewhere in the northern side (in one of my adventures, I ran into 20 of them). I'm really looking for odd things about the world in adventurer as we wait, but I''m debating about posting about it... Any thoughts?

Records of Etur Mengstolur, also knows as Peregar The Mechaniac
Page 1
1st Granite, 254
So, all out of sudden I became the overseer of this place. After few days and nights while trying to bind the ends of all topes together I nave time to record everything I did and things I will do.

First, we have quite massive metal industry. Powered by charcoal. What the nonsence! Where's the blood of the Earth, our precious magma? I ordered digging straight down.

After few levels of staris were dug, miners breached caverns. One of miners held the other by legs firmly while the other examined the cavern hanging upside down. So - we get garnierite and native gold veins there. Could be useful. Orders were changed to dig around caverns inside the natural stone pillar.

While they are digging, I'm dismounting that dozens of cage traps. I will need them in another place.

3rd Granite
Nobody knows what those levers do. The all are linked to something, so I just decided to test them. I don't think they are dangerous...

Okay, lever left from bridge operates floodgates to the moat.
Lever right to bridge.. oops... raises bridge, and there was Urist Worksquare, the mason. He should have learnt to swim, though. What did he expected when moved to Uristrash?!
Lever at the corner raises secondary bridge.

13th Granite
We found the magma pool down at the caverns at level -114. It leads down to magma sea, and there are praised adamantine veins shining!! Hooray!!

I ordered the stairs to be dug town to magma surface, and set magma furnaces there.
Find MAGMA!!! Done

OOC: So, I promised some Urists deaths - I made  8). I think it's fine to start with Urist drowning.
