I wonder why nobody is writing in this topic anymore except me :P

Today's dream:

It was 1989, the Communism have partially crmbled and only eastern Poland and western Ukraine&Belarus formed 'New CCCP' which was goign to be awesome according to the Chairman of the Party, who was I believe Gorbachev. I was watching this with my class via old TV with some other ranom school people.

Some random late teen girl I never met just passed her 'matura' exam and then went back to her special magical cottage, were she was living with two WWII Polish teen soldiers and a 'puppet' without face that served as her horse. THen they were spied upon by another 'puppet' which was wearing black shirt and was more malicious than anything else.

Thanks to the good 'puppet' I could see that the evil 'puppet' was living in a dark Void and had imprisoned few girls in bikinis, forcing them into lesbian groping and manufacturing him, somehow, tools from 21st century, including laser rifles.

Everyone else has had too much caffeine/too little cheese? ;)

I wrote some up, last week, but they were just plain weird.

Given I've been awake for several hours now, without having made notes at all, a lot of the detail has disappeared from last night, although I remember that there were several 'acts' to the dream.  Only two (partially) come to mind, however.

One part involved a hotel room, of a sorts...  for some reason there were holes in the floor down which ?goblins? were roaming.  And for some reason I snuck downstairs to deal with these, without bothering to tell anyone else (I felt it best not to concern them).  The "dealing" with the goblins might have been discussions about not creeping around downstairs, rather than killing them, but the whole motivation thing was odd (and now unremembered).

Skipping forward to another scene, I was in a warthog/jeep-esque vehicle, with some nasty weapons in the back, and someone who (it turned out) wasn't a very nice person and was going to use those nasty weapons.  My approach to dealing with the problem was to give this guy a bazooka and then jump out and let him try to hit me, but by (through some dream-capability that didn't seem odd) telekinetically bringing the pallet of weapons up into the air to get in the way of the shot... both protecting me and destroying the weapons themselves.  I was aware that this was going to be difficult to do (after all, he wouldn't be deliberately aiming through the pallet if I just left in front of him while he aimed) so I was all prepared to jump out of the way of the first shot or three while I kept trying to move the 'shield' in front of him.  I think I woke up before I had success, or even had to dodge the shot.  Alarm clock, etc.  Although at one point I got a top-down view of the scene (in some hedge-lined fields) so I could plan my escape through the bushy perimeters of the place this standoff was.

But everything from last night was rather tame and fairly logical, on the whole, I recall (or remember recalling, when I could still remember enough of it to make such a snap judgement).  Maybe the above stood out a tad, but wasn't a patch on the odder stuff I get.  Just you wait until there are proper dream-VCRs available (or dream-DVRs, I suppose, if today's tech is more relevant), then I (and, I suspect, half of the online community) will be posting (carefully edited?) compilations to the YouTube of the day. ;)

For the first time in ages I remembered a dream.  Now I wish I never had.

I'm running down a hallway. To my left and right are more hallways, but they are all dark.  Not dark like the lights are out, dark like the light is being eaten before it hits anything. I take a turn down a lit corridor, and at the end I see a young girl,  maybe 8 or 9. I start running toward her to protect her from the darkness, but right as I get to her, arms come out of the other hallways(she is in the middle of a 4-way intersection, the only lit hallway is the one I'm in) and they start tearing her apart. I only woke up when there was nothing left but blood on the floor.

Guess I have something to talk to my therapist about...

Here's a good one. I remember it because, so far as I can tell, I spent the entire night in this one dream, not waking up once. This is highly unusual for me.

Anyway, in my dream I was being contacted by a variety of unimaginably ancient spirits. They all wanted to conscript me to work against the plans of the others, and I was essentially a pawn for all sides. If I tried to ignore the demands of one, it ended up furthering the plans of another. If I instead tried to help the one making the demands, I might help that one, or I might help an entirely different one. Or both. Or more. It was all extremely complex and I don't think even my dream self understood more than the tiniest fraction of it.

The dream ended when my alarm went off.

In my dream, I was driving a car from the backseat, because I picked up some random hitchhiker and let him take the drivers seat.  But I took the steering wheel with me to the back seat.

Nasty dream last few nights. I'm in some sort of generic fantasy world, and I think I'm gathering herbs and other plants. What's actually happening is that I'm being hypnotized by a giant spider into wrapping myself into its web. I then wake up, fall back asleep, and have the exact same dream again. I've been getting very little sleep these past few days :(

Had a dream. I don't recall it exactly, but I recall talking with a friend about strategies and class builds for Diablo 3, and debating classes' effectiveness and balances and other such gibberish. Said friend has never played a Diablo game in his life, as far as I know, but that's beside the point.

It also included gameplay of Diablo 3, but with my wizard and monk being much more effective at killing monsters in Inferno.

...I need to stop game binges before bed.

The latest meaningful dream I had (most of my dreams are full of nonsense) was based on a book I've read recently.
The zombie apocalypse has begun. However, the situation in my town was pretty relaxed - children were still playing in the street and people were casually preparing for the upcoming days. My family was planning to stay in my grandparents' apartment. Along with my father, I went on a raid to a local shopping center for supplies, which was full of zombies, unlike the rest of the town. We brought the loot home and then went outside. I've realized that I forgot my pistol at home, and then I spotted a morph (a zombie, which has consumed enough biomass, transforms into a hideously mutated, intelligent and very dangerous monster called "morph"). We went into hiding, the monster, which was suspiciously docile, ran around for a while, and then I woke up.

After years of drifting, I find a place that is totally accepting. I am a tiger, orange fur, with a leather bag around my waist and constantly smoking a joint. I live in a valley, with several others. The valley is lined with cliffs, and everyone has helped and made slides that transport us around the cliffs. “Children come here to ride on the slides sometimes but I've never been good with children. I can't take care of them, and I don't know anything to make pain stop. All I've ever know is pain and the heights. I was six when I found out that I was more monkey than tiger, the heights called and I followed. I built a good chunk of these slides, buying parts from a nice muskrat couple that live down on the vale.” I walk to the vale, and talk to them. They give me the two parts that I need for the next section of slide. They offer to let me sleep there for the night, since it's already dark. I wake up later that night, and I know that the muskrats are moving on. It makes me sad. “Going away in the night?” I ask. “You'd better tell him why we need to go” says the female, in a voice that suggests she's been crying. The male comes over to me, and takes me aside. “You know, we where drifters before we came here” he says sadly “We didn't come for the heights, or the materials, or even the weed.” He chuckles “You see, we came for the...” I wake up.

For some reason this dream featured a ridiculous amount of weed in the background at all times (probably because I watched the Vice documentary on mardigrass), and was extremely sad. It's weird, but I still feel a sense of loss at the muskrats moving away. I think they where nice people, but I really wish I hadn't woken up before he finished his sentence.

Alright, so I was really short, and had a large magic sack. If I crawled into the sack it transported me to a Walmart that sold literally everything I could ever need. So I went through some caves to go kill the Troll King.

I dreamed that I was in a convenience store with my friends, looking to buy a drink because I was so thirsty. They also had some cotton candy, but some dudes were guarding it and pushing everyone who got near it. After some minor conflict, I got some and left. I'm not sure how this section of the dream ended, but I didn't end up drinking anything.

Then I woke up, but not really. I dreamed that I was really thirsty so I went downstairs and got some tea. I drank it, realized I was still thirsty so I must be in a dream, and woke up.

I headed back downstairs and repeated this exact process of waking up into the same dream two or three more times before I realized what was happening. One of the times, it was an Arnold Palmer mixed with alcohol instead of plain tea.

At some point, I woke up, walked downstairs, opened the cabinet, and realized that I was still upstairs sleeping. My roommate M greeted me and I told her I wasn't really there, I was upstairs dreaming. I got a cup down, and planned to wake up, head downstairs, and see if my dream's actions actually did something in real life. Unfortunately, the dream ended there.

Then I was in an apartment building. M was leaving to go to her karate classes (she doesn't take karate in real life) and I decided to hitch a ride with her because I was really thirsty and wanted to go get a drink at some fast food place. But she forgot her keys or something, and when we went back in I changed my mind and told her I'd just get something out of the fridge.

I drank it, it did not quench my thirst. I woke up for real. I was fucking thirsty. Nested dreams are not fun.

I woke up this morning, or I thought I did and somehow were aware that I wasn't.
I climbed out of my bed but at the same time didn't, a disturbingly thick fog was seen outside the windows.
It was a very erie feeling and to make things worse, this was what I heard during that time (at least the first minutes of it).
