And last night I was in Minecraft, attempting to escape. My surroundings are unclear, though it appears to be a tunnel of blue fabric. I emerge into a room through a shabby wooden door, and almost immediately haunting music starts and an indistinct shadow in the shape of Slenderman gets me. Then the dream repeats. For hours and hours; it was kinda boring. Then I woke up, had breakfast and all that, and it was only when I realized that there were Mexican immigrants hiding in the nonexistent rafters in my kitchen that I realized it was a dream and really woke up.

Had strange dream (no nude and/or sexy men this time, sadly) after a long time of no dreams at all.

I was eating sand at the cafeteria of my university branch. Everyone was eating sand. There were different colors and tastes of sand, including stuff like 'Pomegranate flavor Cookies' made of sand. This continued for some time, and after that, police came and began yelling at the people, then at sand, whilst I ran away into a storage room and curled in the corner.

That's when I woke up.

In my dream, I was dating with a girl who had a more extreme version of my personality. It was both interesting and disturbing to hang out with her. Best thing I loved about it was the fact she was willing to join me whenever I had a crazy idea to do something. Most people around me don't do this.

I don't remember much but I remember both of us at my house, making snarky jokes and stuff, and it was like 12:00 AM. We were a little bit bored because my mother was in the house and we couldn't do anything *wink wink* so I just said "Meh, wanna take a walk outside?" and she was like "Oh, definitely." I tend to go out at weird times by myself or rarely with a night-owl friend like me in real life too so it's nothing new but I was kinda surprised that a girl agreed to join me like this. Anyway, I also said "We can buy some beers on the road and drink at the beach. The beach looks awesome at night." She happily agreed and I was thinking like "Whoa, I was thinking I would never find a girl who would spontaneously do something like this with me. I should hold onto this one."

Then I woke up :-\

I also remember something about both of us being in the snow and deeply talking about something but I can't remember enough to go into detail.

It was my house, four stories in all (yet fortified in a way only a dream could have it) and under siege by what can be described only as some terrifying mix of Nids and nightmare fuel. Clouds of flying things, all teeth and wings and furious temper, smashing against the windows and what not. Something got inside, and sure enough it's a mad dash to escape. A daring window leap, frantic key jangling and rescue attempt later, fleeing as fast as our legs can carry us away from the house. We all split up of course.
And then it got really fun. It was at a beach - a beach I recognize from (you guessed it) a past dream. It was night and the tide was in across the stony sands, and the dream follows as what started off as a small skirmish between balloon entities and myself+the crew of a boat becomes a gargantuan battlefield between us and them. The balloons were completely invulnerable to damage, but once they sustained damage that should have long since destroyed them, they deflated. What's worse was that they were more than capable of tearing people to pieces or turning them into the balloon menace.
By the end there was a couple getting dragged into the sea, a blimp piloted by a couple giving birth, Richard Dawkins singing about Americans going to war in a country manner (with a guitar) whilst guns are blaring off, the balloons are changing form beneath the waves and I've swapped my gun for a fire axe (which I begin sharpening after accidentally attempting to hack off someone's metal hand).
It was weird to say the least. And the length of the dream! Elephants, beach balls, people and more disturbing things that probably belonged in the mist...
Successful dream. Of note was I also knew the dream was going to end when I was just sitting there sharpening my axe watching WWIII happen. How I knew I was dreaming (even specifically saying the dream) without consciously knowing I was in a dream is odd. Subconsciously dreaming about lucidly dreaming.

I had a dream recently that played out like an episode of Paranormal Activity, where for some reason, whoever I was controlling was camping in a back yard tent or something, a mysterious presence was around, and I can't recall all the details, but one thing leads to another, I see the demonic force for what it is. It looked like a high-class skinless humanoid demon thing in upper-class attire (for a demon; like badass robes and a mage-like outfit), that had an affinity for possessing technology, and also able to use trans-dimensional portals and such, along with doing poltergeist stuff. Oddly enough, it had a weakness to silver or something of the sort, because while I was chasing it or evading it, it eventually opened a portal into hell, and while doing it, it accidentally opened a portal through a medicine cabinet or something, and got all kinds of medical needles in it's face (looked like a bunch of epi-pens (for allergies) or some silvery/metalic-colored substance, maybe mercury; I don't know what these people had), it got injected by all of them by accident, was in all sorts of pain and suffered a death that would be comparable in special effects like a SYFY original movie, or a made for TV horror movie made in the 80s. The creature looked high-class and actually somewhat intimidating (it was even dressed in garments equivalent to an arch-demon kind of thing; really high class, as if he can kill you by opening a portal down the center of your body in the blink of an eye. It's appearance was more recent looking.). I feel sorta cheated out; the battle was so short-lived and finished off by it's own recklessness. And the thing was acting like a badass and whatnot, until it killed itself by accident this way.

I found it strange that such a powerful and intimidating demon suffered probably the most BS death ever. Then again, things always go weird around me in dream worlds. Even stranger, I wasn't the one that killed it. It died by it's own stupidity (despite being smart enough to coordinate it's own portals all over the place; even opening a direct line into Hell itself). I feel like if I were to ever see that thing again, it would never live that death down. I mean, what an idiot. Doesn't matter if you could slice your targets apart with portals like a deli-slicer, you accidentally killed yourself by reckless portal placement and epi-pens.

Oh yeah, and to further cheeseball it up; before waking up, the family in the dream "learned a valuable lesson about watching too much TV" or some stupid bullcrap like that. I think I facepalmed hard enough to wake myself up.

Reading how you broke the legs of your cats reminded me. In a dream, I accidently ripped the head out the body of a friend by hugging him too strongly once, in front of like 100 people. Oops!

I had one where I had somehow dislodged and removed several teeth, first with my tongue, then pulled them out with my hands.

I've had other dreams like that. Oddly, my teeth are pretty fine.

Oy. I had a dream similiar to that. I was chewing a gum and some of my teeth practically sticked to the gum.

I just remembered. In a dream, while I was walking in someplace which looked like a park, I saw smurfs! They were less children-y in my dream, with the way they talk and walk. I decided to follow one of them and while I was walking, spine of a weird plant strached my arm. I looked at my arm and noticed the giant wound. There was no blood coming out but I could see the inside of my arm. I saw meat, literally hopping up and down as I moved my arm. It looked like an oversized meatball. Smurfs were looking at me like "oh, that kinda stuff happens all the time around here." so I didn't give much thought about it. I placed my palm to the wound so my insides wouldn't fall out from my arm.

Wounds and decapitations in dreams can be really weird. I tend to have a lot of bloody and violent dreams. I'm not a violent person in real life and I have no idea why I see violent dreams.

I just remembered a dream from several years ago. I can't remember the details, but I know that it was like a manga, I was killing a lot of things with my bare hands and then it ended with me looking at my hands and wondering what I did.

you woke up before the grimdark monologue.

After sallying forth from a citadel into an enemy forces castle my army defeats the enemy, then I am alone trying to escape the castle through these flesh tubes, each flesh tube representing one of the seven deadly sins, it is here I meet some my little ponies who are lost in the tunnels, The dream ended when I made it to the pestilence tunnel (not really a sin but that is what I said they were in the dream.) and the flesh of the tube was all pallid and green rather than red and pink, I then woke up feeling very confused.

So the rage thread had a segue about dreams and everyone forgot about this. NOT ON MY WATCH!
I had a dream that consisted of a classic movie plot ... sort of. I was a random kid who was kidnapped by this organization and brought up into a spaceship. There it was explained to me that I had to command an army or something. I did and got the approval of some old guy. Then, some time later, you know how those things go in dreams, the commander was dead and we were recruiting a new commander of our time travel secret agency. The position somehow came with the benefit of being the embodiment of all humanity. We were at that point in a van in an empty field in the middle of an immense storm that was our means of time travel. He accepted, and immediately went powermad. Some time later, we were in an opulent office that seemed to be in some stone European city judging by the surroundings. He was mad at me and I had to run away or he would kill me or something. I traveled back in time after a short chase, and everything started to look like claymation. He came back as well and he transformed into a human Godzilla thing. He chased me while I enscribed a message on the floor of the ancient Greek temple we were in, hoping someone in the future would see it. Then a random girl came out of nowhere and sent me back to the present. Then I woke up.

This is from last night.

I was dreaming I was on the random things you drew shopped made thread. Everything was normal until one of the people in an RP I'm in complemented something I made. I didn't remember posting anything on it, so I went back a few pages and found an image I had apparently posted. Then everything got weird and the world began dissolving into pink and yellow lines. Then a voice said something about magma and I woke up.

I dreamed about having been on the designing team for a MASSIVELY ENORMOUS submarine (As in, 6 aircraft carriers big), which was to make its maiden voyage. It was a huge orange-brown structure, sort of aerodynamic but so large that it could have some rough edges in places. It was such a wonder because it was efficient enough that it could be entirely run with only 9 people.
I was stood by a military commander as we sent off the crew to a voyage to who-knows-where, and then I got some nice cinematic views of it going through some water before I woke up.

Altogether pretty good.
