Odd thing:
I am not afraid of heights, but when I am near some edge or on a bridge, I memorize that height visually and when it replays in my dream I literally wake up out of the in-sleep-height-phobia shock.

Does that mean my subconscious is not victorious and I fear heights?

We all should have some fear of falling off high places, you know, since the sudden stop at the bottom tends to be deadly. Dreams just emphasize those fears in an irrational fashion, but it doesn't imply you have a phobia or otherwise display those irrational fears that dreams concoct for you in your waking life. Or your dream could be trying to imply you're about to actually fall off that thing and die, which is totally a good reason to be afraid, if you're not aware you're dreaming. But sometimes dream-brain decides that's totally cool and you'll be fine anyway...

Last night I dreamed of getting into some manner of trouble at work again. Not stocking things correctly/fast enough, I think it was. I can tell this is going to become a regular occurrence.

I dreamed I was browsing the forums. Not unusual, that happens in my dreams as often as it happens IRL (Pretty often). However, there was a major change. Each user had a subforum attached to their name now, and had moderation rights for that subforum (no bans, but you could edit posts what weren't yours, delete posts, add sub-sub forums, etc), which they could control whether or not other users could post in, and create threads in.

You couldn't see all user forums at once, of course. That would just be too many to browse; the 16 that bay12 is already divided up into are daunting for many users. But you could see your own below the FGaR section, and attach other users below yours as you saw fit. You could also view a user's subforum by going to their profile.

Finally, attachments were enabled, so you could put up .zips of your fortresses directly to the forum, making community forts quicker/easier to manage.

PMs were still possible; it's not like anyone in this alternate bay12 were using their subforums as PM boxes; although they could create hidden threads and enable them to specific users, I didn't see anyone doing that (heheh, bet you can't guess why :P). Toady had all but vanished; the monthly financial reports were about all we were getting from him, since he'd gone off on some fey coding streak that couldn't be interrupted; Threetoe had even started worrying about him, and I am led to believe they live together; this lack of news had lasted around 8 months by this point on alternateBay12.

LordSlowPoke had taken to hosting a whole subculture of bay12ers by adopting all sorts of megathreads; the ones in general discussion had died weeks before the user-forums were enabled. GreatWyrmGold was back, unbanned, and had a massive game running that was twice or three times the size of Einstienian Roulette, all about the worm-verse. Tawarochir had a whole subforum within his user-forum dedicated to his courthouse, and two more dedicated to DnD (one IC, one OOC). Fniff also had his set up to run DnD games, as well as a slew of other users. I myself was using mine to get bay12's help with my taxes, inspired by XKCD 1566.

Dreamed that some sort of minotaur thing lived in some sort of glass labyrinth. I told him that he could easily break out of it since it was all glass and he was really strong, but he got offended and then told me all the reasons to why he should never leave the labyrinth, as taught to him by someone he mentioned. I remember arguing with him about how the only real thing keeping him trapped in the labyrinth was his unwillingness to think for himself.

Also, for some reason, the minotaur wore a long skirt and would ocasionally get on all fours with his chest upwards and do things that can only be described as hilarious break dancing moves.

Brain, next time you decide to go all philosophical with dreams, make the minotaur less hilarious.

I would have a poetry sub forum, which would promptly crash and burn :P

Of course, I'd probably make it a general reading sub forum to give it a bit of backbone.

I don't really remember anything about the dream I had, however, I do remember that had me, the woman I tend to be when I'm female in my dreams and Senator Steven Armstrong from MGR: Revengance. We were friends and we were evil. But I was also pretending to be a good guy for some reason. Was a rather amusing dream.

I had one dream where I was part of a group (of guards?) escorting a few notorious criminals somewhere.
Unfortunately by now I've forgotten pretty much the entire dream, but I know we were terrified by the possibility of them either overpowering us to escape, or their cronies attacking us as we moved them. Not sure what happened in the end.

A later dream I don't remember much of, either, but my IRL friend and I were trying to prevent demonic activity in a house, which was apparently possessed, under the distant supervision of some shadowy, mysterious figures who I don't really remember. Might have been some sort of sages.
Anyway, we somehow became aware of a disturbance in a bathroom and rushed in there, only to discover this tiny, adorable little kitten was responsible. We grabbed it around the neck and carried it out to our supervisors; it was apparently possessed  by demons. It kept writhing about and trying to bite us (and maybe screaming?) but on the whole it wasn't particularly intimidating.

I was too busy/stressed to write either of these dreams down this morning when I remembered them better. :-\

Had a dream where I was an astronaut travelling with a small group of fellow astronauts in a very box-like space ship surveying the earth's sun. We were discussing something about channelling the sun's pure energy to provide power for earth. I then floated over to some sort of tablet built in to the ships wall and took out a very electronic-looking stylus (think a mix of sonic screwdriver and art stylus).

I began drawing a large circle around a 2.5 dimensional diagram of the sun, and soon afterwards I was looking out of the ship's window and saw a white energy-like circle appear around the actual sun. The energy circle soon formed into a stargate type of thing and I was told by the captain that we were heading back to earth. For reasons unknown I was suddenly falling to earth in an egg-shaped escape pod and crashed into a shopping mall parking lot. No cars were harmed.
