Had a dream about nothing. Literally nothing. I had a very obvious HUD (I was unarmed, but at full health and stamina, and an orange bar was nearly empty) so I know it was a dream, but in every direction I looked, there was nothing. Not even blackness. I can't describe it or really even remember what it was like. Maybe it was something that I now know was nothing, but I was just there. Floating in nothing for what seemed like about 15 minutes. I can't tell if I've been cheated or not.

Even if you found a suitable opening, I doubt it would prove all too satisfying. And it might leave some nasty wounds, depending on the moral high ground's geology.

If you had a HUD but floated in nothingness, you have been cheated horribly.

Nah, he just needs to open the console and load the map manually. It happens sometimes when you mod.

You must have glitched through the level geometry and fell into the void beneath.

Or you fell into the voidspace I was in in my other dream, and the lights were off? That, or langoliers got to the place first, and it's no more.

I drank a lot of tea in a chair that was floating in whiteness. I was actually comfortable, too.
At least mine had a comfy chair and tea.

Come on people, you need an appreciation of the finer things, here.

I see a chair floating, I get funny ideas...

-See chair float
-Turn it upside-down
-Attempt to ride it
-???
-Succeed
-Profit

I'm going to assume that that is a bucket of tea, and he is enjoying himself immensely.

This dream again.
Well, not quite, but apparently Toady posted the May FotF reply and said that it should "hopefully be the last one" (probably in relation to DF2014) and that the newest version has the "[FEATURE_COMPLETE]" and some other tags now (probably just him saying that he was doing the bugfixing now).

Then I was apparently playing the "super pre-release demo" at which point it became a cross of Pokemon (and I was apparently with a Scizor in a town filled with rapidly-breeding Torkoals and I was playing as a rarely-seen evo of that 'mon...Which makes no sense, but I guess dreams don't care) and then fog started to apepar in the whole town and (I think) Armok fanatics decided to raid that place...
Before that, I was in a conversation between a Scizor and two other 'mons, which included stuff like war and politics (or lack thereof for the latter, since there was a bit about "No politics.").

It was weird.
But it was my third DF2014 dream which really pisses me off because I WANT THIS THING RIGHT NOW.

Now, to be fair, the release should be feature complete within days, if it isn't already. And then it should be anywhere between two weeks and two months for bugfix time.

Funny that you mention it, since today I dreamt about it AGAIN, and I was reading a status report in which Toady mentioned a release date of "around 30th of September".
And then the "new" version, 0.12, came out.

Soo...Yeah.
The steadily increasing rate of my dreams being about DF can only mean one thing...

It's coming soon.

If we're lucky, it'll come tomorrow.

...Ok, that's a bit too optimistic, but tomorrow is the last day of spring break for me, and I want to spend it having a bar fight. With an adamantine battle axe.

Remembered another interesting dream I had eons ago. If you ever played Flashback, then you should be familiar with the concept of 'Death Tower Show'. Well, in my dream, it was 'Trial Tower Live!'. Basically, it was using all kinds of things from all kinds of games as a basis for a series of trials to pass. It was pretty awesome, like a live action version of Warioware. Now the catch: I am a competitor. I felt very much like the Flynns when they first entered the Grid in Tron, and were put into the games. Some trials were co-op, and others duels, and other times, Last One Standing, and of course, your fair share of singleplayer deathtraps.

Some of these gameshows are so insanely complex in their build and sometimes premise, the buildings they're hosted in are basically standing cities. Absurdly huge developments. What was fun about it was that it integrated all the game elements very well. Like some puzzles required some hard thinking like in Myst, some involved other game elements like LYNE as a means of unlocking a door, or KAMI to open a door, or release a floor of all it's traps. Racing was sometimes a throwaway reason to move to another part of the complex; and some tower-defense games was a means of keeping mob spawners at bay, or to be the enemy for the other competition. In some cases, platforming elements had to be kept in mind, and in some cases, the gravity is also a little different. It doesn't help that some parts of the building are non-euclidean, so mapping the place out is somewhat pointless.

Despite the short time span of a dream, I've had recurring dreams (including some naps) that amounted to about a week of data of me beating a tower. Overall, I think I conquered about 3 towers in my lifetime so far, and according to the scoreboard, I'm a bit of a gifted badass which had too much time on his hands. If I remembered my reason for attending it in the first place, I think it was because "It looked fun.". Some of the games in my Steam game list kinda remind me of my dreams.

I hope I'm a prophet of awesome, or at least, fun.

EDIT:
Looking back at some of these, I don't know if it's a crazy-awesome game show, or a ludicrously efficient Hell (or Heaven, depending on your tastes; Purgatory if you don't care either way, or are just spectating).
