With less than 24 hours before day end you were willing to vote IronyOwl for pressure?

That seems fishy.

Sure. As I said, day end coming I grew less certain about Deathsword, and was looking for a second choice. IronyOwl made a post that at the time seemed suspect, so I questioned him on it, pressed him to explain. Tiruin's recanting resolved the question, but had he not I would have either voted Irony until he answered or returned to my previous pick if his answer was satisfactory or if a tie breaker was needed.

Zathras hefts the corpse-of-webadict puppet and works its mouth: "I declare world peace! Yay! All hail Zathras!"
Everyone is handsomely rewarded, and lives happily ever after.  Except for Bookthras, who dies of poison in the night.

Request Replacement. With the way work is going, there's no way I can hope to keep up, and I'd hate for the game to die because I'm lurking.

How many do we need?

Extend. Maybe we'll actually have a Day 2 instead of this.

You know ... I've got a crazy idea.

Shakerag places both hands on Orb #1 and holds it firmly.

Extend.

Dariush:
Book for the same reasons as yesterday, Jim for voting skeleton and trying to appear town.

How about you tell me what scummy purpose you think I was hoping to serve by voting for the skeleton. Because I got literally everything I wanted out of Day 1, so if it was something besides seeing what voting the skeleton would do and really hoping Tiruin died in the process, then you better let me know what it was, because it's not something I know about.

And parrot zombie urist harder.

lol @ you suspecting Bookthras for ignoring questions.
I somehow missed that post. Or maybe my brain simply filtered it out as useless crap, because it is useless crap. Here's why: voting the skeleton was the easiest thing anybody could have done to activelurk and not scumhunt while covering his ass behind an excuse of attempting to crack the game mechanics. But indulge me - what have you gotten out of D1? I don't see you doing anything with that sacred truth except answering questions and voting Book.

Parrot ZU? Did we suddenly become limited to a single accusation per person per scumslip or something? You were trying to appear town. Yes, ZU pointed that out first. Does that somehow make it forbidden for other people to point it out?

My case on Book:
1) shameless bandwagon on Tiruin;
2) quotemining OB;
3) giving Jim shit about his skeleton vote while ignoring Tiruin's statue vote;
4) ignoring my questions;
5) lying about answering the aforementioned questions;
6) voting OB after he asked for replacement, bullshitly claiming that he was 'running away' (despite OB asking for a replacement in at least one other game).
This is ridiculous, but in brief: 1) explained above; 2) explained here; 3) explained several times; 4&5) never happened; 6) bullshit, I don't keep track of games I'm not in, and it was less than 10 minutes after his post; 7) blow me.
1) Liar;
2) That was not an explanation. That was a crappy excuse. You cut away a part of OB's quote. That doesn't happen 'accidentally'.
3-5) Liar;
6) Doesn't matter. You accused a person requesting a replacement of running away. You conjured a bullshit accusation out of thin air. Fuck you;
7) Because when you are resorting to RiA and lying, you cannot go too far, right?

ZU:
...
Is this correct?
You really thought Meph would miss a vote in the same post that asked for a votecount?

Just making sure.

Har.  More seriously, we can't be sure the Devil acts like he does in previous games, most notably the required soul count.  Just needing two souls isn't a completely unreasonable suspicious, given the smaller size of this game compared to either of the previous two Devil games (13 and 14.)
Ok. What does this have to do with anything? This and the above looks like you're just trying to make your posts longer.

It's a warning to people thinking we could game the devil system that we don't know all the details.

Why is Book not worthy of breaking the tie in his favor?

Shakerag:
Wait, I've got a crazier idea.

Statue:  I command you to let me enter the Tomb of Mah-Sut.

Is this your meaningful contribution?

You know ... I've got a crazy idea.

Shakerag places both hands on Orb #1 and holds it firmly.

Wait, I've got a crazier idea.

Statue:  I command you to let me enter the Tomb of Mah-Sut.

  The Statue's eyes light up, and the Orb begins to glow with a deep red light. Sparks of energy run across Shakerag, who begins to howl with pain and rage. His form turns to pure light, so bright that you can't look at him directly. Great beams of red energy lash out from him, blasting holes in the walls and exploding zombie urist into a shower of glittering dust. Moments later the light fades and Shakerag himself is nothing but glittering dust.

  The Statue Speaks
"The Werewolf Leader and the Devil have been Judged"

  The room then grows dim.

The Statue Speaks "The Trial of Night has begun"

The room goes black, and when you can see again you find yourself in a different part of the Necropolis than you were before, but still separated from the others a bit. Once again, each person has been put into a room that contains a small bowl of water and a pile of straw.

You each hear a voice in your mind. "You may sleep here for the night. The Trials shall begin again in the morning."

Night has Fallen. Send in your actions.

Sorry about the delay on this folks, last night ended up being crazier than I'd thought it was going to be.

Urist Imiknorris is replacing in for Hapah.

I am going to extend the Night over the weekend so he has time to get up to speed. Day 3 will start ~10am Pacific Monday.
