In all honesty, I was about to out of this game right before Meph locked the thread for day start. Replace me.

Oh, running away, are you? Come back 'ere and get what's coming to you!

Perhaps the questions were getting to you? I think you're just chickening out and trying to give a replacement scum a clean slate. How about you touch the orb thingy on your way out, like Irony suggested? If it's a waste of time it can't hurt, right?

Everyone is handsomely rewarded, and lives happily ever after.  Except for Bookthras, who dies of poison in the night.

Somewhat rushed post, but it's better than no post at all:

Unvote.

Toaster:
Deathsword:  Noted.  What was your favorite part?
I don't really have a favorite part, but if I had to choose it'd the start of D2, due to the activity compared to most of D1.

Tiruin:
Deathsword: Out of the BMs, into the tomb.

How do you feel about your Mafia experience now? Also, what gives you the idea (pertaining to the ? you asked me) that flavor may or may not be relevant?
I am not really sure how to define how experienced I am at this moment, we'll probably see during this game. This is a bastard (well, semi-bastard), so no one (Meph aside) can truly know how relevant it'll be, and I wanted your opinion on it.

If I can, I'll post again today. Not sure if it'll be possible.

Replace me. I'm bored and tired of Mafia, and have plenty of other things I could be doing with the time I'm spending making these posts.

Scum and town are funny words to throw around in bastard games. In both of Meph's previous bastards, neither the scum or town teams were standard. What's your opinion on what they would be?
I'm glad I did a little reading. I read the entire game that Toaster posted today, and if this game is half as screwball as that one was I need to drink a lot before I think about the game: The only way I'll get to the right conclusions is going so far wrong that I come out the other side.

As for teams: I'd guess maybe some want the tablet for good or neutral ends, and maybe someone wants to blow up the world with it? (The first thing that came to mind when I read the flavor was Kefka from FFVI, lol. Seems godlike power would be right up his alley)

Toaster, Book: Thank you for the suggestions! I'll have to go look at a Meph game too, if I can find the time.

Can we just throw the skeleton at the orb so no one is touching the skeleton when it impacts?  Is there enough connective tissue remaining so it's largely hanging together, or all the bones separate?
I've gotta admit, the mental picture here nearly killed me. Nail a crown to that sucker's head and give him the heave-ho at one of the Orb. Majesty, INCOMING!!!
--------
Org: Regarding the skeleton, I'd imagine an Emperor would probably have an entourage. Unless they all died on the way in, I guess.

Meph: Could the skeleton's rags have ever been more than rags? Could we tell if they were ever finery? Can we tell what they're made of? Does history tell us of any "Lost Emperors" ?

Toaster: Regarding Book's question, how would a kill-immune townie be a problem? I'm not sure I follow.

PPE: Welcome ZU!

The Tally Sheet
Bookthras: Dariush, zombie urist, Shakerag
Dariush: IronyOwl
zombie urist: Bookthras
Toaster: Hapah
Skeleton: Jim Groovester

Day ends ~5pm Pacific Friday

Meph: Could the skeleton's rags have ever been more than rags? Could we tell if they were ever finery? Can we tell what they're made of? Does history tell us of any "Lost Emperors" ?

Anything this guy had is long gone and pretty much unidentifiable. You don't see any gold or anything, though.

History knows little about the Necropolis aside from Rumors. Scholars may know more, but there isn't exactly a Royal Library in this place for you to consult.

An extra day means an extra night. Besides, we need some information on what the hell these Orbs do.

Fixed.

You are not sure if you will be able to avoid Activating an Orb or not.

Nothing? Not even a gut feel?

Bookthras thinks me laconic
Unlike you, histrionic
We need to know the game's trick
So to Jim don't be a prick
Or when we lose you'll find me sardonic
So what are your reasons for voting Book?

I'm not sure what you mean by "friendliness of hostility."  Are you asking if I think there may be roles that are non-hostile this game that are traditionally hostile, a la Bastanormal 2?  If so, I don't expect it to be a major factor, but it's certainly possible. If there's (for example) a werewolf team, they could perhaps be masons instead of scum.  I'm not expecting much, though.
This is a very interesting way of saying that.

Mod: Can we extend/shorten? How will those affect gameplay?

...however, his vote having been reflected was very surprising (especially, as you said, since votes on the statue and Mepth didn't stick), so I withdraw my objection -- it clearly was effective.

Oh, sure, retract your objection after it shows results. I would too.

It doesn't fully explain why you objected in the first place. Even after I explained I was trying shit out, you still objected even though you gave Tiruin a free pass for experimenting as well.

I nominate Bookthras, since he had a problem with it for some reason and is picky about what bastard experimentation he tolerates. Neither of those make sense, so he can put the hand on the orb.
I could sort of go for this, or especially go for this with Orangebottle. If it's a waste of time it can't hurt, right?

Could you elaborate on why Bookthras or Orangebottle when your vote is on Dariush?

And elaborate your opinion on all of those players while you're at it.

I don't know, although I don't think the Skeleton is one of true Majesty.
...unless the Skeleton was the Emperor?

What do you think?

ZU: Nope.

You lot are going to let yourselves be outposted by a drunk? For shame.

There was a man fond of drink,
Who in the morn' after would think,
      Who would'a thunk,
It's bad to post while drunk.
Did I hit my head on the sink?
