Werewolves
----------------------
For decades Shakerag has sought out the Necropolis. He has lost friends, family, and even his humanity on this quest. It has gone from a grand adventure to an all-consuming obsession. After his own conversion to a Werewolf he chose to infect the rest of his group. A few have fallen on this journey but, at last, the three of you are here. With the Tablet will come great power and fame. And, perhaps, even a chance at redemption.
But that will have to wait. You must overcome not only the secrets of this chamber, but also your competitors. Of course, if you an kill them off that will make things much simpler. You've long since become accustomed to murder after being turned, after all. Each Night one of you may attempt to Kill another player instead of performing any other action.
Bookthras - You are a
Werewolf Flanker, trained to aid in the hunt by either distracting the target or by warding off any help trying to save them. When you
Aid in the pack kill, it becomes unblockable.
Org - You are a
Warlock, gifted by the dark magic of your curse with the ability to speak with the dead. Each night you may go to a corpse and commune with that player's soul for the remainder of the Night. This ability is unblockable.
Shakerag - you are the
Werewolf Leader. Strong and Fast, you are as powerful as you are fearsome. That rage that is bottled up without you is so great that, should you be killed during the day, you will at least managed to take out another player with you before you go down. But not another Werewolf, of course.
Your pack connection also allows the three of you to
communicate without anyone else catching on.

Magic
----------------------
You are the last surviving members of the Brotherhood of the Golden Vial's expedition to the Necropolis. You've lost several full Members, Jim's two apprentices, and all of your various hirelings battling your way through the Necropolis. Between traps, undead horrors, and an ambush by another party seeking the Tablet it's been far more costly than you'd anticipated to get here.
But, still, you've managed to make your way into this chamber. If you can overcome this challenge, and the threat posed by the other seekers, you may just succeed in your quest after all.
Fortunately, the three of you are pretty well equipped to deal with this situation. In addition to your personal skills, you also have the Wand of the 5th Hex. This wand allows one of you to either Mark another player for Death each night or Invoke the Hex to kill all marked players that night. Using the Wand prevents you from performing any other actions that night. Unlike most magic, the Wand requires direct line of sight so you'll have to go find the other player to Mark them. Invoking the Hex does not require that you go anywhere.
Dariush - You are a
Witch, conscripted by the order for you knowledge of ancient magics. You have the ability to
Place the Watchful Eye upon any other player's shelter once per game. After it has been placed, the Eye will inform you of anyone who visits that shelter as well as whether or not the player who own's the shelter leaves. It will last for the rest of the game.
Deathsword - You are
Fortune Teller, able to uncover secrets of the other players using you Divination abilities. Each Night you may
Scry another player to learn what
Type of Role they have. The possible role Types are Survivor, Watcher, Changer, Killer, and Protector.
Jim Groovester - You are a
Wizard, and the leader of this Expedition. You may use your formidable powers to
Protect another player from being attacked each night.
In addition, your magic allows the three of you to
communicate without anyone else listening in.
----------------------
Templars
----------------------
The Tablet of Tablet of Nung-Amur, if it exists, is an object of heathen magic and must be destroyed. This is your duty as members of the Templar Order, and it is one you take very seriously. Your expedition, though it has suffered greatly both on the road to and within the Necropolis, must complete its mission at all costs. How knows what horrors might be unleashed upon the world if some other faction were to gain this artifact?
To this end, you may send one of your number each night to Block another player instead of performing any other actions that Night.
Hapah - You are a veteran
Templar, your skills in hunting down the accursed Cults of the world honed by many battles against the dark forces of the world. You are immune to the seductive charms of the Cults, and cannot be converted by them. In addition, you may either attempt to
Kill another player each night or
Protect yourself from attack instead.
IronyOwl - You are a
Sage of the Templar Order. While your combat skills do not match those of your companions, you make up for it with a wealth of lore that can help you determine what the order is up against. Each night you may
Study to gain clues about what you and your companions face during these trials.
Toaster - You are
Knight, newly inducted into the Order. While you lack the skills of a full Templar, you are still a force to be reckoned with in battle. Due to your skills with Arms and Armor, you are immune to attacks against you during the Night.
In addition, you have all been given holy talismans that allow you to
communicate with one another without being overheard.
---------
Orangebottle Other Devil
You are a bit different from the others here. You are no mere mortal, seeking out the words of a long-dead god. No, you are a
Devil, and you are here to collect this artifact for your Dread Master. He has little need of its power, but it would make a fine addition to his collection.
If you cannot acquire the Tablet, he will accept 3 new Souls instead. To gather a Soul, simply visit them in the dead of Night and whisper an
Offer to them of great power. You can offer them a one-shot power of their choice: A Night Kill, A Protect, a Role-Block, a Redirect, or full Knowledge of another player's
Role and
Faction. If they accept, then their soul is yours. When you have collected three you will be able to Collect them all and drag them down to the unending hells.
Oh, and you know a secret that the others don't. Only one who owns their own soul may possess the Tablet. Even if you fail to gain 3 Souls, or to get the Tablet on your own, you could still pluck it from the grasp of one who's sold their soul to you.
Of course, you'll need to survive long enough to actually pull off a victory. This group looks a bit dangerous...
--------
Tiruin Other Ghoul
You have lived in the Necropolis for a long, long time. Caught by a curse many years ago, you are a
Ghoul that resides here. Cursed to an unending cycle of eating rotten flesh and killing foolish travelers in order to gain your meals. You've had enough. You were more than this, once. And if you can gain the Tablet, you will be again!
All you need do is
Kill off these fools in the night. However, you will only be able to perform 1 attack a night. Or, instead, you could
Feast upon a corpse for the night. This will grant you power, making your next attack
unstoppable.
