Story:In the world of Shaman King, people with the ability to communicate and fight with spirits are collectively known as Shamans.  The four of you are drawn inw ith your spirits to the  Shaman Tournament, a semimillennial event that draws shamans from around the world to compete for the chance to become the Shaman King and the wielder of the omnipotent Great Spirit, with  which shamans can do amazing things with.

What are shamans? well...A Shaman is someone who can connect with the world of spirits and gods, this allows him to do amazing things, like taking the skills and techniques of assimilating a spirit with him. They can ask for advice to the spirits, heal the sick and gather the ghosts of the dead in this world. Moreover, by contacting the dead, they can also speak with great historical figures.

Ill be accepting Eight players. four will be shamans..the other four will be spirits. Also, those that don't get in in time can still send me your sheets, and i might make use of you as opponents.

Oversoul Types

Generally speaking, O.S. (Over Souls) can be divided into three (3) categories: Spirit-types, Weapon-types, and Armor-types. The classification of an O.S. doesn't necessarily mean it will be more effective than a lower-class O.S., just more difficult to sustain, making the overall effectiveness of any O.S. is largely based on individual talent.
Spirit-type Oversoul

Spirit-type O.S. ususally manifests an apparition corporeally in such a manner as to fully utilize their unique abilities.
Weapon-type Oversoul

Weapon-type O.S. manifests an apparition in their purest form, usually as a supernatural armament, usually to compliment the shaman's personal fighting style. Weapon-type are incredibly versatile and are possbile with Seirei-type apparitions.
Armor-type Oversoul

Armor-type Over Souls are the most efficient type. Armor-types represent the pinnacle of O.S. magic and are the most practical form of an Over Soul as they are virtually impervious to attack due to their highly-density of furyoku, and are equally formidable in terms of raw power.
Unity-type Oversoul/Oversoul Merge

This the Over Soul merge which the Shaman make sure they and the ghost are one and the same. It is very difficult to pull off since both the ghost and the shaman must be synced the entire time the Over Soul is used. The advantage is that the ghost is fully used in the battle and a direct use of all abilities of both shaman and ghost.

Why are you fighting:
To gain more power by consuming all kinds of spirits, the more powerful the prey the better.
Background:
An polar bear spirit who were one of the largest, toughest and strongest of his time.
At least until a scandinavian hunter on an expidition managed to get a deadly shot to the heart.
As a spirit, he vowed to slay and devour the hunter who took his life, he eventually did find the hunter's spirit along the eastern coast a few weeks later.
The hunter had died when he got lost from the expedition he was in and froze to death, so his bewildered spirit was an easy prey for Frostrend. He felt a power surging through him as he consumed this spirit. And thgus began the search for more spirits to con sume, mpre power to gain, becomming more gluttunous and greedy each time.

Why are you fighting: The others in my village killed me, as they thought I was too old to do ny good. The bloody bastards...I'll get them if it's the last thing I do! Show them I've still got some fight left in me!
Background: Used to be a powerful, but rare, Early 11th Century Viking, ruling over his clan and preferring JUST pillaging over pillaging, burning, an raping. He was a nice viking, to say the least. But as he got old, his clan believed he was of no use to them. They killed him in his sleep and he's wanted revenge ever since.

Why are you fighting:
To cleanse evil from the world once and for all
Background:
Cargon was a crusader during the time of the First Crusade, he was known widely among his fellow crusader's for the sword he carried, a two-handed sword that had the images of Saints carved into it and a ornately designed cross chiseled into its handle. He lost his life at the Second Siege of Antioch when Cargon held back a tide of fifty men alone as the rest struggled to secure the walls, throughout the battle he was pierced with spear, and arrows and hacked at with swords yet he did not falter. When the siege was lifted they found Cargon gone before the bridge of a siege tower was his sword, which had been smashed in half, piercing the stone of the wall, all around it lay the corpses of seventy soldiers slain by a single man who had disappeared leaving behind only a broken sword.

The town where he grew up is nothing more than a crumbling ruin now, with abandoned toys and chunks of the buildings littering the ground. While that indeed made him powerful, it wasn't enough. He needed more power. He heard of a tournament, named the Shaman Fights, the winner of which would become a god among men. He sold everything except the clothes on his back and his guitar, then left for Patch Village.
