Work 3 farms
Work 1 Shire.
Build Shire, Z-52
Work Shire, Z-52.
Claim Y-53

Thats why I dont like -random- things that can screw over people that hard, in the early game. Ship of freaks has a powerful lead, and not because hes better, just due to the dragon not destroying him. Needlessly irritating.

Shouldn't I have 10 population if so do this:

Work village [4/10]
Claim K-7, K-8 and K-9 [7/10]
Build Nature Preserve [10/10]

If not do this:
Work Village [2/8]
Claim K-7, K-8 and K-9 [5/8]
Build Nature Preserve [8/8]

I know I should have 10 because I had 7 last round and worked 3 of them on the Village.
Also, Ship of Freaks should only have a pop of 20 not 22. Unless having 2 towns make it so you get 2 times as many people.
It also seems as you forgot to put Ship of Freaks Fishery down on the map as well.
Sorry I am not trying to rant or anything just a few things I seemed to notice. Correct me if i am wrong.

well, i don't have the right to say that i like this sort of random thing considering that this hasn't affected me yet, but i recognize that it wouldn't have been fun if one of you completely dropped out so early on. also, terra wasn't attacked either, if i remember rightly, and i have a notable lead over him too. last game i learned the necessity of aggressive expansion.

5 claim F-26 G-26,27 I-35 P-31
2 build fisheries
10 work farms/fisheries
2 build preserves
2 work towns
1 praise Corai for our continued deliverance

and terra, just a thought: strategically, what is the difference between having one village, and two villages?

Your turn is totally screwed up and, no, you shouldn't have 10 population. You had 7 and worked the village; now you have 8. I think your problem is that you think you can work a structure multiple times with multiple populations in one turn. This is not the case. Also the Humans' Population is accurate; they receive two Population when working a Town. As for the map error, thanks for alerting me. Anyways, please post a sensible turn.

I don't like how Fish Domestication allows an empire to easily cross over water to reach basically every landmass on the map. The point of this tech is to fish. That's it. I may replace it with Fishing (like in Game1) and have it so that you can fish on tiles adjacent to your borders, but you need Sailing to actually claim water tiles.
what if you just made more landmasses far apart? i think that would be good

I might, but the space on the map is limited.

The old fishing worked exactly the same way, except that you didn't have to build a fishery. You still cross <2 tile wide straights with it. It never came up, but you could do it.

E: I'd like to suggest an idea. Change "Whenever an Undead Army kills another empire's Army in battle, the fallen Army becomes an Undead Army under the control of the Hobbits." to "Whenever an Undead Army kills another empire's Army in battle, the fallen Army becomes an Undead Army under the control of the owner of the winning army."

which allows for some interesting interactions with the Crown artifact.

I know. I wasn't going to change it back to exactly how it worked in Game1, just the aspect of fishing without building fisheries. In this proposed system, you would fish from unclaimed tiles without the use of fisheries.

That would make for a poor change, I think. It makes fisheries 100% superior to Farms, since claiming one action can give you up to 7 farms vs the 14 actions needed to do the same with farming. What I'd do is:

Nature Preserves: 1 food per turn without work, buildable only on tiles surrounded on all 8 sides by forest. Produces 1 unicorn if worked.

Farm: Produces 2 food per turn when worked (3 if hobbit), built on any plains (or mountains with subterranian farming tech) tile.

Fishery: Built on any land tile adjacent to water. Produces 1 food per two adjacent water tiles, rounded up. Has a 1/6th chance of being destroyed by the Kraken along with the population working it each time it's worked.

Each of these gets bumped up to a 10pt tech.
