Goings onThe Golden Dragon watches the newly-united peoples from his perch on the keystone of the giant gate to the abandoned Dwarven fortress. He flies on patrol around the whole world, watching for targets. On the western continent near the Volcano of Anguish, he spots a tribe of dwarves digging out homes in the mountainside. With images of gold and gems in his head, the Dragon lands in front of the Mountainhall's entrance and floods all of the intricate tunnels with searing dragon fire. After searching the halls thoroughly and finding no mines, the Dragon grabs several dozen of the surviving beard-singed Dwarves in his mighty talons and flies them back to his lair. After snacking on a few Dwarves, the Golden Dragon resumed his post atop his lair's gate. To the west, on his very island were a tribe of funny-looking humans digging holes in the ground. The Dragon flew over to them and noticed that they looked quite plump and appetizing. He warranted they wouldn't have much of value to steal, so he decided to just grab another talon's full of Halfling children to snack on. He burnt the fields and caved-in the tunnels just for fun before flying back to his lair to enjoy his plunder.
