I'd want Stealth Maneuver first, but once I have that, I'm looting that dragon lair like mad.
Now you're thinking like a Kobold.

A note, Nature Preserves giving free food without being worked is rather annoying, Given that means they will NEVER draw the wrath of the Dragon.

So essentially, the elves have no issues with expanding, they just have to make sure they use nature preserves, and never ever any farms. Unless they absolutely have to.

It was a lot worse in the last game, i laughed out hard at the outrageous population of the elves early game.

I took that into account in where I started. Hence the importance of the start zone.  :P (Also, you and the other guy had a horrible start. I think you and him would be with the Kobolds if the dragon didn't eat you.)

Work the Farm!

I believe a nature preserve should also be attacked by the dragon.

Goings on
The Humans continue to grow rapidly both in numbers and land. The Dragon watches them constantly from the sky, waiting for his chance to taste their flesh. He is often tempted to just swoop in and take what he wants, but he then shudders as he remembers some unfortunate encounters he has had with Human adventurers. To the south, the Hobbits hold many grand celebrations and feasts to celebrate their survival and prosperity. They are lucky that the Dragon was off scouting Human lands, otherwise the noise would surely have attracted another raid.

Nature Preserves have the same chance to be attacked when they are worked. Otherwise, no. I will not change the rules after the game has started. I disagree with your guys' opinions that the Elves can expand too easily because of Preserves. Anyone can build Preserves if they research it. So yeah, you can complain about it if you want, but WILLSAUCE HAS SPOKEN and it won't be changed. Just be happy that they don't still get Unicorns.

Hah! You cant anymore Grek. Unless those tiles are adjacent to your borders at the beginning of your turn, you need more people.

Which is good. No more lightning claiming everything.

...Drat. Turn changed to reflect that rule.

E: Wait, how many extra pop? If it's 1 per extra tile, then I could just claim L-55 and skip all the intervening terrain.
