I opened this thread at the wrong time.

I'd give my compliments of this wonder of the world coding and imagination, but everything I'd want to say has already been said.
Except the thing AllThingsLive said. Or Loud Whispers' response.

Uh, how much bleach is left?

Also, I gotta admit I never viewed Toady One as a human until I listened to DF talk.

He just sounds so mysterious in the forum. I almost thought he was an AI written by the real Tarn.

I kind of want crates to be added as a storage item in your honour now.

...

I also think this is somehow appropriate:

This is a masterwork Dwarf Fortress. All craftstoadship is of the highest quality. The object is decorated with hanging rings of C++ and menaces with spikes of CPU.

On the item is an image of a Dwarf Fortress and FPS in binary. The Dwarf Fortress is laughing. The Dwarf Fortress is striking down the FPS.

/toast

I've never played a game with so much hilarity and grandeur as this.  The tales of Boatmurdered and Bronzemurder, the sagas of King Cacame and Queen Tholtig, and the epic creation of Planepacked, this game has talked nerdy to me like none other!

No, I just don't like all those toasts and praises to be interrupted, but now that I read my post again I'd prefernot to have written it, it sounds weird.

I just realized the double entendre. Are you sure there isn't any bleach left?

For some reason I'm never really interested in the people behind the things I like. Actors, musicians, game developers, I only care about what they create, not about who they are. I don't like Toady because I don't know him, but I love what he created. Thank you Mr. Adams one and two.
Fuck this, I love them.
