>Andrew: Turn the 'cranky-thingy.'

You turn the "Cranky-thing," causing a bright-yellow Cruxite Dowel to pop out of the bottom. You notice that, as per AA's advice, the lid is still firmly un-popped.

Be connected to!

Jonathan connects as Sirius' server, completing the somewhat mangled chain. The messy-haired astrologist shows up on Jonathan's screen, along with the full SUBURB GUI.

>ACHIM: Look into that journal!

You look into the journal. There is some text on the top of the first page, but it seems otherwise blank.

"You're gonna like me a lot less when I show your nose what the inside of your brain looks like!"

>Penny: Captchalogue the lid for the sarcophagus. Chuck more junk at this asshole.

[Improvised Weaponry (Mediocre) +2 -1 vs. Escape Artist (Good) -1] You captchalogue the lid of the sarcophagus and immediately chuck it at him. The little bastard manages to duck and dodge yet again. It is fairly clear that his main skill is dodging things while looking stupid.

ZELLSPRITE: Don't worry, babe. I got this one.

Deploy the machines!

A bunch of weird machines immediately pop down on SL's living room and observatory. The nearest one is the cylinder-shaped Cruxtruder.

>ACHIM: Flinch back from sudden horror film flashback and bang your head on the cruxtruder, HARD

You hit your head on the Cruxtruder hard enough to open the lid and cause a translucent green sprite to pop out.

After regaining consciousness in a dramatically appropriate manner, you notice that something other than your sprite is glowing:

>Andrew: Aggress lid with PERIPHRASTIC VOLUME, then put the cylinder along with the card in the lathe-looking thing.

You manage to get a bright-yellow Kernelsprite to pop out of the Cruxtruder. Ignoring it for the moment, you head over to carve the cylinder with the pre-punched card. The Dowel is carved into a very jagged shape.
