The old man just sort of smiles and nods. You take a quick hike up your MANSION STAIRS and find your parents waiting for you on a small balcony outside. Upon seeing you, they immediately dash downstairs before you can even open your mouth. Huh.

Hey, looks like this searching has taken 20 minutes!

((Oh whoops posted accidentally. One sec))

You hover over the controls on the top of the screen and see their proper names. From left to right: "Select/Move", "Build/Destroy", "Cut/copy/paste", "Captcha Controls", "Grist Cache".

>Andrew: Pick up and examine one of the crow parts. It's not every day that a crow spontaneously combusts into nuts and bolts.

You pick up the crow's main head piece. Luckily, this one didn't shatter. (Roll: 8+1 INT) You notice something shiny on the piece. A very tiny clear blue crystal in a laser-like hull where the eye is. Hm.

You find a window with a dozen or so different gem-like object that look kind of like Fruit Gushers. They all say "0" next to them except for a light blue one that says "20".

>ACHIM: Check out the Captcha control

A white screen with a few small, rectangular boxes near the top pops up. The console below the viewport says "ERROR: Alchemiter not installed."

>Penny: Return to your room. Clearly your parents are busy, and you still gotta try out this beta.

Aw yes, you dash back into your room and past any annoying helpers. Both discs carefully inserted into your QUAD STACK DVD OMNIPLEX, the computer starts whirring and installing both the SERVER and CLIENT programs because that's something you can do when your PARENTS owns stock in one hundred Fortune 500 companies.

>Andrew: Post on the life advice section of the Gulf13 Forums about this weird robo-crow, then do some thorough googling about it

Gulf 13's life advice section unanimously tells you to stand upside-down on your head with your eyes closed until you stop breathing. Google returns no better results but, thankfully, less homicidal ones.

Looks like the SUBURB server has installed. It tells you it's waiting on a connection. Maybe you should hit one of your friends up? In the meantime, you start the other disc installing.

Jack: Try to find coplayer on a forum.

You head to Gulf 13's forum to try and find a coplayer, but they just tell you to stand upside-down on your head with your eyes closed until you stop breathing. Also, none of them have ever heard of the game. Maybe it would be best to look for a more reliable outlet.

Jack: Retrieve friend's IPs from folder labeled "Suckers Who Gave Me Their IPs". Pick one at random and enter it.

HAHAHAHA this is the best idea oh wait, it looks like they have to confirm the connection first. Damn.

>Penny: Check your room to make sure nothing is missing.

(4) You... think there is nothing missing in your room. Reorganized, sure, but after an exhaustive search of the area, you find nothing specifically absent. As soon as you're done, you notice your computer screen says there's someone waiting to connect to you in SUBURB. Wow, did the game install this fast? Being a sort of modern day princess sure does have its advantages.
