Dad sprites!

EDIT: Also,
>Andrew: STRIFE!

Love the sprite.

Spoiler: Initiative (click to show/hide)

You manage to get the jump on your PAPA! Unfortunately, you didn't decide what to do with that jump. He walks up to you and uses LV. 15 FARMER TECHNIQUE: MIDDLE-AGED WISDOM, spouting off all sorts of demeaning phrases about how you kids have it way too easy today and really should just settle down. Boring!

>ACHIM: Hastily retrieve arm from inventory; offer it to your new acquaintance while cracking a terrible pun

After all, everybody tells you to socialize more!

While the robot doesn't directly answer whether or not it "needs a hand there", your offer of the arm seems to at least pacify it. The metal clunker walks up to you, swipes the arm quickly and begins speaking.

Spoiler: Chatlog (click to show/hide)

>Jon: land on the floor. Then artist charge at the front door.

You already landed on the floor! But you do get up quickly. Business to attend to. You hold out your paintbrush like a knight's jousting lance and ARTIST CHARGE towards the front door! (Roll: 2-1) Unfortunately, artists are not very strong. This should be obvious right now. You hit the door fall flat on your ass for the second time in half an hour. WHAT NOW???

JACK: Attempt to find access tunnels.
JACK: Alternatively, begin digging with your bare hands.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

You know, when I thought up your guardian for the first RPG (Because, lets be honest, your character is pretty much a direct port of him :P), I didn't imagine him having such an epic beard. Not that I disapprove, of course.

Rebalance TL;DR. It should be a cooldown because it's entirely conditional.

>Andrew: Employ TL;DR!

(ROLL: 8!) You start reading from the boring chapters of the CICERONE, but your PAPA will have none of that whatsoever. He employs DEFENSIVE MECHANISM: SALAD TOSS, conjuring peppers from who knows where and showering you with them.

You take six damage and are hurled to the back of the room, covered with frozen garden vegetables. Papa cracks his knuckles and returns to the kitchen, SATISFIED.

JACK: Attempt to find access tunnels.
JACK: Alternatively, begin digging with your bare hands.

You attempt to locate an ACCESS TUNNEL, considering your bare hands as an alternative. (ROLL: 9+2) Thankfully, you remember there's one on the back side of your house. Once you head around to it, you notice it's boarded up. Hmm... been a long time since you had to enter the ACTUAL BASEMENT (as opposed to any SECRET UNDERGROUND LABS).

Why must your father always throw frozen bell peppers at you?

TB: Continue repressing memories of SECRET UNDERGROUND LAB. Then check on loading bar while looking around for a crowbar.

TB: Continue repressing memories of SECRET UNDERGROUND LAB. Then check on loading bar while looking around for a crowbar.

You head back inside through the back door and check up on the computer. The loading bar has now gone up to 65%. At least you know it isn't going to take all day.

(Roll: 10+1) You manage to find a TRUSTY CROWBAR nearby and temporarily allocate it to your STRIFE SPECIBUS. Handy! Heading back outside to finish the job, you try to pry off the boards with the crowbar. (Roll: 17-1) You easily succeed, revealing a dusty, cobweb-ridden door. Proceed? Y/N

>Andrew: Continue outside, but first consume DELICIOUS PAPER-SALAD

Why must your father always throw frozen bell peppers at you?

The author is currently too busy with something else to make the obligatory BLUH panel. You manage to get up after chewing through a few peppers. Your father has apparently run out of discipline as he continues working in the kitchen without stopping you from going outside anymore. You head outside to find your mailbox - and everything else - buried under a few feet of snow as usual.

>Jon: Unlock the door, then open it.

Not all doors in this house lock from the outside, numpnuts. You head outside without any more trouble. Hey, the flag on your mailbox is down, and it was up earlier! Awesome!

>ACHIM: Contemplate possibility to become THE SAVIOUR or THE ONE in the upcoming ROBO-REVOLUTION

This. This is the mantle you always deserved, but were too modest to seek. The mantle of the prophecied one, the enlightened one, the one to save them all.
It is your responsibility (no, privilege!) to become one with the machine spirit, the first and forsaken Kyborg, MECHA-Engeler...

...except that sentient robots and apocalyptic prophecies are FAKE AND BULLSHIT!
That guy is probably just trying to sell you a newspaper subscription or something.

JACK: ENTER

>ACHIM:"Just hand it over, Darth. Nice casing by the way."

The obviously fake robot just sort of shrugs. For a moment it doesn't look like he's going to do anything, but after a few seconds he hurls something at you.

It looks like some kind of... locket? The chain is too tiny for you to wear it anywhere, though.

"I MUST GO." *Krrrt*

The robot slowly walks away. Dangit, you can't even escape advertisements in your own front yard. At least you got a free sample of whatever he was selling.
