The "more like" game
« on: August 24, 2012, 08:09:32 pm »

I'm not sure if this is a great game idea or a terrible, terrible one. The first person says some phrase that might make sense in some context. The next person then makes a slight change to the phrase as if making a snappy remark. For example, the first phrase might be "Go kart party". The next person could then say "Go kart party? More like pro kart party." The next next person has to do the same, and so he might continue the thread with  "Pro kart party? More like pro cautery." After that we might see "Pro cautery? More like pro cutlery.", and so the phrase would continue to mutate forever. It is preferred that each version sounds similar to the previous version, and words can be added, removed, combined, or separated. The same part can be changed multiple times in a row without any issues.

I'll start us up with the phrase "Snowball fight".

So...."Economic Depression?"

Because trying to stuff Fate/Whatever's engrish and the title of a 17th century book on statecraft into Pokemon syntax tends to make the content incomprehensible.
