A peculiar piece of genius, that one. From using a magic box, it allows you to be united to every kingdom for communication. It also allows knowledge to be transmitted to the royal family, not for the filthy serfs down below. Beware the troublesome nightmarish demons that stalk it: the trolls!

We launched a ship that can fly at the stars, which then landed (well, sort of crashed; it's complicated) on another world. Not that different from sailing to new lands, only the new lands can be reached only by air and not sea.

Also the only passenger was a magical golem we order from afar, seeing as actually returning from this land is almost impossible and the air is noxious to breathe anyway. "Why?" Uh... mainly we just wanted to know what was over there, but maybe later we can purify the air and live there or something.

Gel that, when applied to a brush and scrubbed on your teeth, removes filth.

Open spaces for people to store their cars while at market or what have you, cars being contraptions which serve more or less the same function as horses. Yes, most people own a horse equivalent.

A genre of entertainment that includes controlling a singular visualized character whereupon you have to engage the visualized enemy. Is all played on a magic box with lights, and seen through a big board that glows.

Edit: Woops...
