Fire Emblem: Mystic Plague. (OPEN)
« on: August 22, 2012, 08:42:03 pm »

For centuries, the continent of Oroavac has lived in relative peace, unthreatened by war or famine. Now, a new threat stirs beneath the earth, the dead have started rising within the kingdom of Aeratus, and seems to be spreading towards it's neighbors. The Kingdoms of Caenan, Traennerus and Aeliyr along with the merchant republic of Shossan and the Theocracy of Touxar.

Though this has little to do with you. You are travelling towards castle Eraklelai in the kingdom of Traennerus, in order to meet with the king about a very important task that he's needs volunteers for: Escorting the royal heir to the duke of Zathael's castle at Kaever. The reward for this promises to be high: Wealth, honour and even possible induction into the royal guard.

So here you are, outside the King's chambers awaiting an audience with him about this task...

The Nations of Oroavac.
The Kingdom of Aeratus is known for its well trained army and military might. They inhabit a land filled with humid jungle, and sticky marshlands. The harsh landscape teems with life, but requires a strong will and resolve to survive. They have been content to patrol their own lands and keep to themselves, but rumors of dark magic and the dead rising from the grave have begun to surface.

The Kingdom of Caenan is a land of wide plains and rolling pasturelands. This provides excellent breeding area for horses, and Caenan steeds are saught far and wide. The nomadic knights of the Caenan calvary patrol the grasslands and keep the Kingdom safe from invasion.

The Kingdom of Traennerus is filled with many large forests and wooded hillsides. The men of Trae are usually strong bulky individuals from living in the forest wilds. A sharpshooter from Traennerus is usually considered one of the best, and most infantry of any type can give Aeratus a run for their money. However, the Trae consider animals food, and would rather hunt them than train any sort.

The Kingdom of Aeliyr is known for it's air superiority. Here the twin soldier forces of Wyvern Riders and Pegasus Knights train, and work together to keep Aeliyr's mountain home free from any invaders. Aeliyr mages are also known as some of the best wind users, rivaling even the Theocracy for skill.

The Merchant Republic of Shossan is a group of like minded people looking to make money in any way possible. Most of the other nations look down on people from Shossan, but they all use and appreciate their skilled thieves and mercenaries in their armies. Shossan is situated along the coast and claims most of the waterways around Oroavac for their trade routes.

The Theocracy of Touxar is the home of the university of Touxar. The university is the largest collection of the wisest mages and priests in the known world. Any mage worth his stuff has at least planned to attend the university eventually, however the long treck to the secluded desert kingdom is harsh for any power-less applicants.

I'm still interested, probably making my sheet when I have some time. Could you set a starting date?

That depends on how much interest there is. Can't exactly run a game without players...

Is there any room left to join? I'm always up for a RPG. If there is I would like to reserve it. Reading the PDF now.

Edit: Just to be clear, I don't really know too much about Fire Elmblem. I played some of Radiant Dawn so I know some of the Basic stuff and I read a few things here and there but I know of nothing really beyond that.

Edit 2: Yeah sure I'll join. Sgin me up as a Thief Trainee. I'll put my sheet up later.

Right, looks like we have enough to actually get the game rolling.

As Stated before, we're using the trainee classes to start off. PM the sheets to me when you've got them done so I can check them over and see if there's anything that needs fixing. If it's all good you're ready to play. I'm aiming to get about 4-6 before we start, with an upper limit of 12-18 players.

Trainee Swordsman right here. Just wondering if there is a character sheet hidden somewhere in the pdf so my speadsheet will be uniform.
