I've lost all hope in a good zombie game that reflects zombies well.

There is no game that does that.

When DeadRising a COMEDY... actually is the closest to genuinly representing the zombie apoc. There is an issue.

The fastest method in determining if a game is actually trying to do a zombie apoc is simple: Go to a market, mall, or store. If the shelf only has one or two objects on it... it is just trying to be a game and won't be trying to transcend its limitations.

The game won't have multi-player at launch. It will be only single player though they said they want to add a multiplayer/co-op option in future.

I'd rather pass up on multi-player. I had bad experience with multi-player sandbox zombie games. There is a lot of sandbox survival zombie games being developed right now and most of them are only multi-player anyway. I really want some good ol' fashioned sandbox survival single-player zombie game. There are a lot of zombie games around but none of them are this. I tried a lot of zombie games and Fort Zombie was the closest to this but it still failed on so many levels.

Most people seem to hate the idea of multiplayer being dropped. I'm actually glad. I want a good story-driven (yet still sandbox) zombie game rather than running around aimlessly. I played too many games like that recently.

Nice game, but I would've preferred FPS for immersion.

Nevertheless, this game's on my sights.

I've been playing this on Xbox for a few hours today and for $20 it's pretty amazing!

This thing has finally released?  Oh yea, it was gold a week or so ago wasn't it?

Too many zombie games so easy to forget which is which.

EDIT: Oh, this one isn't on PC yet...

It's not a deep game but for $20 it's a bargain. I imagine I will play through it several times.
