Mood dwarf running from workshop

Ok today a mood dwarf taked a aluminium bar and started working , a damn frogman entered in my fortress and started attacking him, he run away, ok i killed the frogman bun now the dwarf is staying still. Help?

(v)iew the dwarf and check his status, where you'd see wounds and stuff.  I'm guessing the interruption caused the mood to fail, and he went insane.  Seemingly standing still suggests the Melancholy flavor of insanity.

Is he wounded? IT's possible that he is wounded enough that he is unable to move, even if he still wants to.

It's possible that the whole attack and strange mood thing conflicted, yeah. I'm surprised he didn't just go insane.

And you're sure he actually began his construction?  He might be waiting because he needs something else he doesn't have access to, but just not waiting in the shop because he was scared away from it.

Yes he began his counstruction.On the workshop was a message: "Avuz Zonlaz is working furiously."
but now is just that he claim the workshop.

No idea.  That doesn't sound like intended behavior, it sounds like a small bug, and those are unpredictable.  You could always kill the process, reload, and try again with less scaring, I guess.
