Discos? They're dead, man. Deader than disco.

Oh wait, exactly as dead as disco.

And if you see anything that might be construed as a lever in your bedroom[1], maybe don't pull it?  Actually, that's probably advice your mother gave you already.)

Hahahahahahahahahahaha! That would make a superb pickup line. "Hey Urist, there's a lever in my bedroom, wanna pull it?"
Crap, I have a dirty mind.

I'm going to build a giant lever right in the middle of my firstborns bedroom, just to see if they'll pull it or not.
But you know what you're going to have to do if they do pull it right?

Hang a pin~ata?

Sounds fair.

(Note:  I'm quite aweful and figuring out how to put accented or otherwise embelished letters into a post.  Also quite deficient on the desire to learn)

And with one swift post, inEQUALITY suplexed the train of this thread onto an entirely diffrent set of rails.
Woah, the last time I saw somebody suplex a train like it was nobody's business, we were real men! Of course, we were fighting this crazy clown, but we were men, I tell you! Times were tough and it was killed or be killed. Phoenix Downs weren't cheap back then, to boot. Point is, it was 1999 and Lavos was coming down...
Nice work Mr. Thou. To the Serpent Trench with this thread.

As log as you use the latin plural, yes, disci.
But since it's a greek word, i'd go with discoi. (Or, to be 100% exact, diskoi. There's no c in greek. (Well duh. Otherwise it would be greec. (Sorry, my thoughts got derailed there.)))

Technically, it's "Hellenic" (or "Hellenik"... or, in fact, "Ellinas", except with Epsilon Lambda, Lambda, Eta, Nu, Alpha, Sigma, or "Έλληνας"  So, apart from most of the rest looking odd and different anyway, it looks like it ends in a 'c'.  At least in lower-case, but probably carved on stone as "ΕΛΛΗΝΑΣ", if I've not slipped up.  But what would I know?  It's all Greek to me![1] ;) )

[1] My only real expertise in the alphabet is rooted in knowing various algebraic terms.  My only real expertise in the language is from long ago having half the residents of my floor in my halls of residence being Greek nationals.  But the most frequent single word I heard from them was (it turns out) a mildly profane form of greeting (largely between themselves, almost always shouted...)...  And I don't know how to spell that.  (Actually, I do now, after Googling the obvious possibilities and getting a set of suggested corrections with a handy summary to confirm matters.)

Glad someone finally asked.

You see, the infrastructure needed to run a flat world can get intense. Mirror-equipped satellites are used to simulate polar and equatorial regions. You know, the only reason a DF world has gravity is imps spinning an array of adamantium discs at near luminal speed...

You're wrong, it's four elephants on a giant carp.
It's carp all the way down.
