You wake up one morning, yawning and stretching like normal. You go get your coffee and newspaper like normal. You reach down to pick the paper up, and your arm goes through it, like normal.

Wait, what?!

You try to yank your arm out, but it's stuck! And it's pulling you in!

Suddenly, everything goes black, and when you wake up...
There's nothing. Literally, nothing but you and a box. You look over to see two more boxes, and similar copies of yourself, all looking equally confused.

Then you realize you're 2D. In the comic section. Hoo, boy. This might just make you late for work.

Welcome to RTBAC! Or Roll to Be A Cartoon!

The goal in this is to make your way OUT of the comics section, and ultimately OUT of the newspaper. Physics are extremely warped, and enemies are countless. This will make for a tough fight, but you'll do anything to not lose your job. Good LUUCK!

Character sheet:

Name: This should be a character from any popular syndicated cartoon strip, such as Garfield, Dogbert, or Jason Fox.
Cartoon: Just to clarify.
Advantage: An ability that will give you a bonus, special attack, whatever. Try to make it fit the character.
Disadvantage: Something that prevents you from doing certain things, or just gives you a, well, anti-bonus to something. Again, try to make it fit.
Theme Song: If you want. It's just flair, really.
Put 5 points among these:
Strength:
Speed:
Intelligence:
Communication:
Money: 0$

When a Stat gets to a certain level of points, it gives a boost to a certain roll. Points can also be bought at the shop.

Money is gained from defeating enemies, and can be used to buy stuff in the Classifieds section.
Extra abilities can be bought at the store, along with weapons and upgrades.
More points can be gained from defeating the boss of a page, and can be spent immediately.

Other than that, HAVE AT YE!

Clearly running multiple missions at the same time is a terrible idea.  The epic battle to see which team can cock it up worse has escalated again.

And Larry kinda gets blueballed in all this; just left with a raging bone spear and no where to put it.

Dammit! Nobody was Family Circus! Or Pearls Before Swine. My least and most favorite comics, respectively.

Join! Also, I was expecting people would pick up that I wanted Newspaper Comics, such as what Geen has suggested. Oh well, you get what you get.

Well, Boondocks was originally a newspaper comic as well.

Turn Soon, and I wasn't talking about you, Spinal. Batman and Robin, Hellboy, and the Phantom were all comic books, but they'll be allowed, albeit a bit downplayed. Hellboy won't be as strong as he is in the books, plus everyone will be affected by cartoon physics.
