EDIT: Wait a minute, the iOS devices only have one screen. How could they do the dual screen thing? Also no buttons, how would you control the "top screen"?

I'm inclined to think it's a myth or a dummy thing put there to throw people off.

Played twewy for a bit earlier, didn't do as bad as I remembered, so huzzah for tips.

Music is pretty good now that I've actually heard it for more than a few minutes, but I'd still prefer the Radiant Historia music over it if i were to pick.

WTF IS TWEWY? Why should I be hyped?

I searched on "twewy" and got a bunch of generic looking Japanese style art, is that dwarfy? I dont think that it is. 

Then I saw the gameply on the square enix site, so its kinda...I dunno...dumb looking I think and not dwarfy at all. Just my opinion, but maybe little kids like it? Maybe my advanced geriatric age clouds me from understanding why this is so awesome and requiring of dwarves to get hyped, I dont think dwarves would get hyped at all about this.

If you're not a huge fan of JRPGs or the artstyle therein then yeah you're prolly not gonna be swayed by TWEWY, but for JRPG people, TWEWY was an awesome game that managed to have a plot that didn't come down to saving the world or using mystical macguffins to accomplish the plot, along with skipping over a lot of the jRPG cliches, at least from a character development point of view. 

EDIT: Also the full name was "The World Ends with You", not that it's really a big deal, but I shouldn't spew anagrams without saying what it is at least.

His post was pretty much my sentiment when I saw the original post. No description of the game, no screenshots, no links... OP didn't even bother to type the whole name of the game.

B12 has almost had riots when people have made threads about Indie games with this little information. If you're going to make a vague, all-caps thread title that doesn't have anything to do with the content of your post, then you should at least take 5 minutes and explain why people might be excited for this announcement.

I don't understand why people post threads about obscure Japanese games and assume that everyone has an intimate knowledge of the games and all associated acronyms. We don't do it with obscure Roguelikes or Indie games. Took me ages to figure out that the zero-information or link Touhou threads that pop up on occasion weren't spambots.

It's not obscure so much as old, it was a really big deal in the DS games "scene" for a long time. But yeah, I agree, people need to start putting more effort into OPs, even just copying stuff from wikipedia is good.
