As it turns out, the pen was in fact a poor choice for melee combat in comparison to the sword.
So I just started playing this game and I accidentally nuked the moon.

I originally set a limit of 6 people so it would not be too much work, but seeing as I don't quite manage to update daily anyway, you can join if you want :) If one of those people that are on their own at the moment want a comrade, and you don't mind, we could arrange an encounter. Otherwise, you will start as the other ones did)

(Ok. since I don't want this to die completely, we will need a new rule: Actions are to be posted within 48 hrs of the last turn-post. Players that fail to do so will be put on AI, and the AI progressively goes from pretty clever to extremely dumb, so your Character is in severe danger of dying the longer you are 'AFK'.)
