Nope. That would be impossible, as there are no votes for other. He changed the other way around. Besides, nobody changed away from future, they changed from modern. I checked and quoted the changes, pretty sure there are no mistakes.

Also, whitout switch there's a tie.

I don't know wherether or not the GM is going to go first come first serve or some other thing.
