Stupid question;

What's DFterm?

Not stupid actually.

DFTerm is a utility that basically throws the fort onto a server that pretty much anyone can interact with through the program and that other people can watch through their browser...

So I guess we decided that the problem was that we didn't have enough chefs in the kitchen, huh?

Would you mind posting the link to the DFterm download and any other instructions here?

alright, dfterm seems operational

version 3 is awesome in that it runs from a browser and you don't need to give a shit about anything really

i've rebooted it and added the save just now, game's idling and chillin' waiting for people to come by

what you need to do is to click the "horrorfailed" box under "active games" it can't be too hard, then it's classic dfterm fuckery

let the good times roll

I at least am completely unable to connect to that server. Do you have an alternate download you could use?

I presume you've closed the server by now. I was out chopping wood due to parental mandate, so I couldn't investigate earlier. I just submitted a post on the DFterm3 thread asking how the hell to connect to a server properly (or, even, how to run the program as a player rather than a server administrator), now that I realize you were giving us an IP address, not linking to the download for a little applet that you run in the DFterm install directory like I'm used to for DFterm2. I was so horribly confused! :P

Trying to avoid making a crude joke, but this phrase is really tempting. Really, really tempting.

Screw it, I'm grabbing the save and taking a turn.
