Nah, the triforce exists because majora was sealed in a pocket dimension by the Godesses, which means that they created the world, and the triforce must exist.

It can take quite a long time for new Links to be born.

Though the longest period of time between Links is between Twilight Princess and Windwaker.

With the least being the time between 64 and Twilight Princess.

The first Link was actually born from a war and was known as the "Hero of Man"

Which actually gives us three major titles: Hero of Man, Hero of Time, and Hero of Seasons.

Well while there has been many Links... to my knowledge with exception to Four Swords there has always been one walking around at a time. (there have been multiple Zeldas at a time though)

Has this changed?

I think there only one at a time but he looks different by what faction he with.

Personally I'd picture Link as an assasine unit anyhow rather then a military one.

It pretty good I'm playing as the Kokiri I've allied with Hyrule and Ordona fighting the Lizalfos and there Stalfos running around as well.
