((I'm not sure if I'm supposed to roll again for an attack against the second dude, or reuse my previous roll. If I reuse it, then this guy is toast, if he has the same health as the last one.))

((Kat and rain attacked, right? But they can't actually attack this round, because it was s surprise round. They can use those rolls, was the point I was trying to get across, because I wasn't sure if they knew that the first round was a surprise round, because the entire party was not aware of every combatant))

((Ahhh ok, so me and Caellath don't attack again since we are still in the surprise round due to Sky not posting an attack roll. Then we go again after that and Rain and Kat can use their previous rolls for that round since they could not act last round, right?

SKY! GIT YOUR ASS IN HERE!))

1d20+4,2d6=[8, 4 = 12], [3, 5 = 8 damage]

Paprika flinches and fires, her shot probably flying wide.

Reacting to the shot, the beast lunges forwards at Ethan! 19+15=34

It attempts to grapple Ethan, grabbing hold of his jacket! 14+2=16

Malkavian's grapple9+2=11
Countergrapple 7+3=10

It gets a firm hold, and begins to rend Ethan's flesh, tearing into him with wild abandon!

Damage:3+2=5

Ethan roars as he grapples the feral mutant.
"Nasty creature!"

((@Wrex: You need to be more clear on our initiative order. The surprise round is over, yes?

Also, in the future...can you make surprise rounds either the whole party or the entire enemy party? It's very confusing the way you're doing it. ?_? ))

IIRC

Initiative Round 1
1. Troy (Next)
2. Kat (Done) (http://www.bay12forums.com/smf/index.php?topic=114956.msg3586636#msg3586636)
3. Ethan (Done) (http://www.bay12forums.com/smf/index.php?topic=114956.msg3591256#msg3591256)
4. Rain (Done) (http://www.bay12forums.com/smf/index.php?topic=114956.msg3587090#msg3587090)
5. Paprika (Done) (http://www.bay12forums.com/smf/index.php?topic=114956.msg3590032#msg3590032)
6. Second Malk

Rain curses as the creature latches onto Ethan before she can even shoot.  No matter then, she lowers her weapon... and gives a roar as she charges the mutant shoulder first intending to send the creature flying and knock it away from her companion.
1d20+4 → [18,4] = (22)
(+2 from strength, +2 from charge.  I figure that this is a better choice as it avoids us having to fire into a grapple and risk hitting Ethan.  Plus it's like the only chance ever to bull rush without provoking attacks of opportunity.)

((If we are going by friendly fire rules, assume Kat holds her shot until the Malk is dislodged))
