I had the same thought, Aklyon.  Al lof this rumormongering could be to scare investors, and force EA's stock to fall to put strain as an overnote when the lawsuit reaches court.  If so, its a big-oh violation for Zynga if they are somehow found in connection with it.  I don't believe that EA would just fold up and sell out like that.

This is veering worryingly close to tin-foil hat territory. I'm not even sure how EA's stock prices falling would have any effect on the Zynga lawsuit?

Zynga is flinging stock everywhere to keep people from leaving, so if they can take the copied's stock down with them, it would be a thing.

I really don't understand the EA hate. Sure they have done a lot of bad things and released bad titles, but in my opinion they are getting way too much hate. Look at Activision, they are shelling out the exact same game each year and making huge profits. Now you could say that EA Sports is the same thing too, but it's sport so how much innovation can you do each year?

WHile I don't like EA I also don't hate it, I just dislike it a bit, but still buy some of their games. Because they do make some good games.l

God DAMN I love this game!

Making the same game each year (which is somehow bad when Activision does it, but not when EA sports does it?) isn't why people hate on EA. It's every underhanded, anti-customer, anti-developer, studio-closing, franchise-killing, bad buisness practice thing they've done since the 90s.

I posted about why a lot of people hate EA on the last page. I get you not agreeing... But not understanding it? There's loads of reasons.

Zynga is flinging stock everywhere to keep people from leaving, so if they can take the copied's stock down with them, it would be a thing.

It would certainly be a thing. The CEOs of EA and Zynga both being lizard people from beyond the moon secretly colluding to gum up the US legal system with frivoulous video game related lawsuits in preperation for the cold-blooded invasion would also be a thing.

You have a good point vagel.
On the otherhand, EA has no idea what they're doing with Command & Conquer if you look at the most recent ones, and C&C is otherwise an awesome series, like plenty of other stuff they have (and many other things they also have but aren't nearly as good)
Most recent: C&C Generals 2 online thing with the same name as the original. C&C Generals 2, is maybe still a thing?
C&C Tiberium Alliances, the crappy online thing.
C&C 4 Tiberium Twilight, a C&C game (and one in the main Tiberium line at that!) with no base-building except in one small section of it and an ending that, while does count as an ending, could've been better.

No, he doesn't. :V

They killed Westwood, killed their sequel to Nox, killed Origin and zombified their corpse for Ultima Online, and used Origin's name for their new digital distribution and DRM platform. They killed various other good studios. They weren't so bad with Maxis, supposedly, but Spore only confirmed my opinion of EA. Mass Effect was the rare series from an EA-owned developer that was actually fairly good, but they went HORRIBLE DRM HERE GUYS with it, and even on the xbox you have one-console-per-code online passes which expire a couple years after ME2/ME3's release (both did it, had different expiration dates, the date on the ME2 one had already passed when I opened the box, which is just lovely, and then I got an error 80% of the time I started ME2 because I hadn't entered it).

It is hard to compete with EA for the most evil game company.

So who says Activision cannot be evil as well?

Zynga is the lowly minion who finds ideas for his lord, then? They certainly are good at lifting ideas from others, but i wouldn't say they're as important as Activision/Blizzard.

Well Zynga is the spy/thief/assasin.Activision/Blizzard are the apprentices of EA.
Too bad i can't afford /i'm too young.I'd buy enough of EA and turn it into a different company. Then sell more expensive.

Activision is lawful evil.  They'll screw you over to make money, but you always know what to expect from them.  They understand that you make more money if you keep your franchises and customers.

EA is chaotic evil.  They just want to see the world burn.

To put it another way, Activision is Lex Luthor, EA is the Joker.
