Animal bombs
« on: August 16, 2012, 09:45:42 pm »

I have heard much of the animal bombs of late, how is one constructed? I...set the bredding rate of dragons far too high, so I need a way to...dispose of them in a way that bring great !!FUN!! to the goblins.

1. Assign all the animals you want to one cage.

2. Using two mechanisms, rig up the cage to a lever or a pressure plate.

3. Profit Mayhem.

1. Put them in minecarts and fling them out over your walls. Only let the ones who can fly back in.
2. Form a Pseudopolis Light Dragons, a unit of cavalry that uses dragons. Here, nether cap armor is good. Maybe
3. Build fire spouts in the floor: grates over pastured dragons. Or the ceiling. Or the walls, with fortifications. Or all three. Apparently Dragonfire only works on the same z level
4. Gladiatorial combat with retracting bridges is always a favorite.
5. Burn the elves in their wooden armor.
6. Lower the breeding rate.

I still wait for the day I can put anything on a catapult. Would be a nice way to get rid of captured elves.

I could see that working nicely...

"Into the firey orb with thee, elf!"
*Sound of an elf being catapulted into the sun

Probably wouldn't work like that but one can dream.

Stuff them all into a couple cages.
Deconstruct the cages.
Put the cages into a stockpile.
Have a minecart take from said stockpile, until they have all of the dragon-loaded cages in them.
Use a minecart gun, loaded with said minecart.
Watch the cages fly out of the minecart, and the dragons fly out of the cages.
Repeat as desired.
