I'm gonna go ahead and be honest here, I read something wrong, so here's something else that happens:
You try the other key and immediately a 10 by 10 adamantine cube sinks into the ground, leaving the rock wall to crumble. There is a second keyhole 10 feet back and that's the one that has the trick to it.
My bad.

The adamantine cube suddenly throws itself upward, crushing you into the ceiling. 20 damage.
Well, that hurt. We should probably get a rogue.

Good news, within a few seconds of entering the tomb, the rogue is jumped by a ghost. Congratulations, you really are immune to death, you just have to steal a body to stay alive.
When you arrive back at the vault, the cube is still stuck to the ceiling, but it's mechanisms are exposed, probably allowing a rogue to fiddle with it to gain access to the main vault.

[20+5] Yeah, that door/cube thing is your bitch. You are able to locate a door that allows you to enter the large cube, or a mechanism that would allow you to lower the cube back into the floor, probably allowing you to retrieve the thick red paste that is flameboy's former body. Inside the cube, you see this:

A pile of gems, coins, vials, scrolls, and other items
lies immediately inside the door of this mithral
vault, but against the rune-scribed far wall is a
stone bier. On the bier is a thick layer of dust
m i xed with bone shards and a gem-encrusted
skull.

Yeah I'm not that stupid BREAK THE SKULL!

Rushing in with a blunt object, you attempt to smash the skull. Two things happen you didn't expect. First, a sword-wielding ghost emerges from a wall and tries to slaughter you. Second, the Skulll starts to levitate, staring at you with an evil, bone chilling sort of look. Good news is you get your first swing in.[20] And what a swing it is1 damage Yeah, I know, it sucks this game doesn't have crits.
[6]The Ghost takes a swing at you, forgetting it's a ghost and it has to solidify its sword before it hits you.
The Skull, however, is not amused that you actually hurt it.
Willpower[6] It fixes you with its piercing gaze and your soul flies out of your body and into its waiting mouth. A careful observer can notice that your soul is visible inside one of its teeth. Autokill

The Loot is tempting, but now that your freshly reanimated immortal body-thief spirit is at the vault, you don't think you can grab any of it without drawing the attention of the ghost and the skull.
