The Crown pops off of his head without incident. It is also about this time that you notice that Tsuchigumo, in his haste to fondle the hidden door, has drawn the mummy who's wrath he incurred straight towards you. So... That's fun.

So I take it silver is disintegrate, gold is remove? Seems a bit odd. Should disintegrating fail, zap it with magic missile. Should disintegration work, say a witty line, pick up crown, place it on the throne, and have Zacen touch it with the silver end.

The Current area is pretty devoid of loot, but you do find the gem the mummy dropped in its pursuit of Tsuchigumo.

The two of you run away from the mummy and towards the gleaming spot of light in the deep shadows of the pillar room. You find the crown near the center.[16][17] After a brief, almost evenly matched struggle, Zacen takes the crown.

Still focusing on the man who stole his ring, the Mummy spins towards Zacen and Tsuchigumo, still arguing over who gets the crown. It opens its withered mouth and sprays a cone of flesh eating locusts at them.
