I pick the lock on Chest #1!

[2 + 5] You fail to pick the lock on the chest.

Malaken hits coffer #12 again! Repeatedly!

[18] The coffer is stubborn and refuses to open. Huh an eighteen. Inside the (now broken) coffer is... 30GP. Not bad. Not bad at all.

Name: Nikolai L'Carpetron
Class: Fighter
Race: Kitsune
Gender: Male
Weapons: Two-handed sword
Armor: Light plated leather armor, leather pants, "L'Carpetron" nametag
Items: Brimstone torch, old KGB files, a striker

Lay KBG files on Coffer 8 and set it on fire using the flint striker.

You appear with the now required burst of brimstone, and set try to set coffer 8 on fire.

[7] Unfortunately the coffer is too old or something to burn. Don't ask me why. At least those old files have been destroyed properly.

Stop that idiot from hitting the box and just pick the lock for him. Slap him up the back of the head for being an idiot.

Well seeing as Malaken already has his coffer open, you decide to instead pick the lock on coffer... 17.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

I think Cairn did reincarnate if(when) I die again I'll figure out how he keeps coming back in the meantime Ask for some of Hans lockpicking tools and pick Coffer #2

[7 + 5] You fail to pick the lock on the coffer, despite using the dead Hans's tools.

Thanks a ton, Nature. You're pretty cool for a Gestalten Non-entity. *fistbump*

I'll head back to the dungeon with Ganderton Thugsley, set out the box of the remaining healing potions in whatever room we're opening mystery boxes, and... hmm. Don't suppose we have a magic type around who knows Detect Magic, or could borrow it from someone, do we? We should probably scan the boxes to narrow our choices down.

Anyway, I'll carefully hack off the lock on lucky Coffer #13, and try to pry it open.

You set the box of healing potions down in Acererak's Living Room, and then look around for a nice coffer to bash into pieces, such as... Coffer number 13?

[10] After your expert beating, Coffer 13 is looking a little battered, but is still holding up fine.

I will continue waiting to bludgeon any monsters to death in case something leaps out of the coffers.
Nah, this is getting boring. I'm gonna grab... Let's see... coffer 5 and attempt to open it.

[5] Attempting to tear off the cover of the coffer with your bare hands results in failure. Oh well.

Razdak skips the magic for now and just tries to pick his coffer with his claws.

You were unlocking a trunk, not a coffer, remember?

[18] Unfortunately for you it's empty, despite your awesome lockpicking skills.

Aw, no Maxclone2?

Anyway, I'm going to attempt to open the door, slowly and carefully.

You confidently walk up to the door, and open it boldly slowly and carefully.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

With Midna back and seemingly low on drink, I use summon alcoholic beverage but upon seeing the goose give me quite the evil eye I quickly summon some more with my other memorization of it. Thats right, I dual wield summon alcohol.

[13] Midna accepts the booze gratefully, and then gets back to work. Ganderson Thugsley opens his bottle of booze sabre style with his beak, before drowning it down in one big gulp. It's thirst for booze sedated (though not its thirst for blood), Ganderson settles down for some well deserved shut-eye. I don't know what he did to deserve it, but I'm not arguing with that thing.

Drop my rope and grab the gems. Take them out of the tomb and bury them somewhere safe where I can find them again easily, like under a specific tree or boulder. Then head back in again and unlock coffer 6, but point it away from me when I open it.

I (somehow) wield a marble coffin that i fill with the corpses of all I have slain (to make an already heavy object even heavier) in one hand, and the other holds a book made out out of fucking platinum. The book can crush skulls, and the coffin grows ever stronger and now that is has a few dead dragons in it, it sends people flying a mile backwards to explode in a pile of gore. Gore which I then place into the coffin,

I'm a bit confused, has anyone opened the secret door yet?
If not, I'm gonna go ahead, open it up and head through.
If so, will it kill me? If the answer is no, I open it and head through.
If the answer is yes, I'm just gonna go ahead and play around with my coffer some more.

So, these things appear to be full of treasure. We should just stockpile everything that isn't immediately useful, and once we're at the end of the dungeon, the survivors can split it between them. Sound good?

Anyway, I'mma keep trying to open lucky Coffer 13. I will have your precious loots.

Also, I just remembered something.

ACERERAK CONGRATULATES YOU ON YOUR
POWERS OF OBSERVATION. SO MAKE OF THIS
WHATEVER YOU WISH, FOR YOU WILL BE MINE IN
THE END NO MATTER WHAT!
Go back to the tormentor or through the arch, The first teleport archway, or the room with that gargoyle in it?
and the second great hall you’ll discover. The Orb Hall
Shun green if you can, but night’s good color
is for those of great valor. Talking about the Black Orb, which leads to the shrine
If shades of red stand for blood the wise
will not need sacrifice aught but a loop of
magical metal—you’re well along your march. The ring we lost to open the door in the murdershrine
Two pits along the way will be found to lead
to a fortuitous fall, so check the wall. A pit with something in it? Do we know what this is?
These keys and those are most important of all, THEM KEYS. THEY'RE IMPORTANT.
and beware of trembling hands and what will maul.
If you find the false you find the true
and into the columned hall you’ll come,
and there the throne that’s key and keyed. All this stuff means nothing to me yet.
The iron men of visage grim do more than

You’ve left and left and found my Tomb

So, those pits... perhaps there's something in the pits? Something that's equally as important as the Keys (plural, mind you, so we have at least one more key to find). What do you guys think?

I think the first "Fortuitous fall" might mean those goggles in the first pit, however there's something else good in a pit somewhere.
Maybe it was a pit that led to the mist archway? Or maybe something we haven't found yet...
Dunno, just my thoughts.
