You know, come to think of it I am a dwarf now, and you are offering free booze...
Is there a rule that says I can't be an animal companion? I do have the scroll...

I'm throwing one FULL FORCE AT A WALL.

I haven't done anything to screw us ALL over, yet. Just... try not to get in front of the throwing range.

Gore which I then place into the coffin,

... I shall not be defeated by a simple lock!

Malaken shall bash coffer #12 with his Ceremonial Whoop-ass stick!

[10] Coffer #12 remains stubbornly closed.

Pick one of the coffers' locks.

You know, the coffers are numbered for a reason.

[13 + 5] According to the RNG you open coffer #20, which has... 35 GP in it! That enough to buy... two new weapons, or maybe a suit of armour. D&D pricing sure is odd.

THROW COFFER 8 AT WALL WITH MAX STRENGTH

YOU CHUCK COFFER EIGHT AT THE WALL WITH YOUR MAX STRENGTH AND

[1]

...

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Razdak scurries down to the nearest chest and casts Dumbfire Magic Missile at its lock.

[3] The chest's trunk's lock is unharmed by your Dumbfire Magic Missile.

"Hey, Nature? Yeah, I know the bit with letting my Raven try to take on a Lich with an enchanted mace might have looked like negligence, but I was really just trying to help him reach his full potential, you know? I knew all along that he had the heart of a champion, and I'll be damned if he didn't wallop that bastard good. He might have even saved a few lives in the process, and he's definitely earned himself a perch in Valhalla. So yeah, it's a real bummer that he died and all, but he had a good death... a warrior's death.

So yeah, how about another critter, Nature? It's ultimately your call and all that, but I brought plenty of booze I'm willing to share. So what do you say?"

[20] After several more minutes of searching, you stumble upon a grizzly bear lying in a clearing, as if Nature had heard your call or something. However, before you can pacify the bear through the application of hard liquor, a large, scarred goose flies into the clearing, beats the bear into submission and chugs the booze like there's no tomorrow.

...

Well I hope you enjoy your new animal companion.

Duck out of the room before that idiot smashes a possibly enchanted coffer.

You bugger out of the room.

Sorry I've been gone all day I wasn't feeling good.

Run into the tomb and back to where I died and loot my old body.

Cairn, apparently his own reincarnation or something, heads back into the Tomb of Horrors.

[4 + 5] Making it safely over the pit, he goes to loot his own body. All you had was a 10 foot pole, but it could be useful, right?

Whooo! Free monay!

...
That dude killed himself. With a box. By throwing it at a wall. We're in the Tomb of Horrors. And he killed himself with a chest.

Name: Nikolai L'Carpetron
Class: Fighter
Race: Kitsune
Gender: Male
Weapons: Two-handed sword
Armor: Light plated leather armor, leather pants, "L'Carpetron" nametag
Items: Brimstone torch, old KGB files, a striker

Nikolai has risen again!
Oh my fucking hea- Hey wait a minute.
Nikolai looks inside of his clothing.
"YES! THREE BODIES LATER AND I HAVE MALE GENITALS AGAIN! Even... You know I don't even care anymore. A few more years and that kitsune power of gender swapping would kick in anyway."

"Anyway. Yeah. I have no idea how I even died, that time. Except... a really horrible headache."

Lay KBG files on Coffer 8 and set it on fire using the flint striker.

"I hate this box. Anyone know why? Am I like, cused to hate 8? What happened. And what's with this nametag? My name is Nikolai, or Nikita if you don't believe me about the gender. I have never been a "L'Carpetron".

((AHahahahaha! Death by bouncing coffer! That's a good one...))

Stop that idiot from hitting the box and just pick the lock for him. Slap him up the back of the head for being an idiot.

Nikolai sighs.

Did everyone else at least stand back when I tried that? If so, no regrets.

Thanks a ton, Nature. You're pretty cool for a Gestalten Non-entity. *fistbump*

I'll head back to the dungeon with Ganderson Thugsley, set out the box of the remaining healing potions in whatever room we're opening mystery boxes, and... hmm. Don't suppose we have a magic type around who knows Detect Magic, or could borrow it from someone, do we? We should probably scan the boxes to narrow our choices down.

Anyway, I'll carefully hack off the lock on lucky Coffer #13, and try to pry it open.

Spoiler: Also, Sprites anyone? (click to show/hide)

I will continue waiting to bludgeon any monsters to death in case something leaps out of the coffers.
Nah, this is getting boring. I'm gonna grab... Let's see... coffer 5 and attempt to open it.
