A strange marking burns itself into the ground of the dungeon and a clawed hand reaches up! Out comes a Kitsune much like Nikolai, but female and with a scorch mark on her tail.

"Well, huh. I guess they were out of male in my size. Still, kinda glad the KGB figured out how to get in and out of hell, and even set up an armory. I require revenge, because one does not simply kick down a door then die by immolation before his... well, "her" now, prime."

Spoiler: character sheet (click to show/hide)

"I swear to god if anyone tries to grope me I will stab them."
Nikolai II catches up with the rest of the group and avoids the lava trap.

Draw my bow, and draw a bead on the gargoyle. Just in case. Because this Lich is a dick.

Give Hans backup on the possible gargoyle shenanigans.

Join Hans in her search for the item.

I search the north-west corner for what ever that sound was. Haha, I knew this gargoyle did something.

Javier, covered (?) by Karas, Hans and Maximum, searches the north-western corner. Man, wouldn't things suck if it was a bomb or something?

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Mark out the secret door with chalk and then examine it for traps and ways to open it. Don't actually open it.

[15 + 5] You find no traps on the door. This door also seems to be an actual door, so you won't have to do the opening dance.

Name: Malaken
Gender: Male
Class: mage Shaman
Race: Tabaxi

HP: 1/1

Weapons: CudgelCeremonial Whoop-ass stick/ Blowgun (15/15)

Spoiler: character sheet (click to show/hide)

Nikolai II suddenly warps in outside the dungeon, accompanied by Malaken due to some kind of awesome and amazing hell adventure. Obviously you'll have to tell everyone later, but for now you have work to do.

Spoiler: Brave Adventurers (click to show/hide)

For some reason I wan't getting email updates, so sorry for the delay. Also: Healing potions are magical, so you can bring some with you.

Malaken shall head to the main group.

You meet the main group in the room with the gargoyle statue.

Nikolai II Nikita follows Malaken with the main group, then looks over the gargoyle statue.
"Hmm. It crushed our gems and gave us a riddle, eh? I'm down with that, but I wonder...

"Mr. Gargoyle. Do you give free answers about yourself? Why do you crush gems?"

Can you believe that thing with the spork? I mean, a spork saved our immortal souls. I'll never look at one the same way.

I take the gem and wipe off the invisibility powder on my foppish shirt.
By the way, does this make part of my chest invisible? Because if so, I turn around, displaying what is apparently a prominent hole in my chest, and pretend to be mortally wounded.

Hans, honey, we should go check out the door in the pit area. (The one that was just chalked up.)

Malaken shall grab the newly-found gem and stick it in one of the gargoyle's hands, whilst muttering some vague shamanistic stuff.

Aaaand, I'm leaving. Hoists Hans over shoulder, heads toward pit area carefully to check that new door out.

The gargoyle stares back uncomprehendingly, probably because it's a statue and not an actual gargoyle.

I take the gem and wipe off the invisibility powder on my foppish shirt.
By the way, does this make part of my chest invisible? Because if so, I turn around, displaying what is apparently a prominent hole in my chest, and pretend to be mortally wounded.

You carefully wipe off the gem. Unfortunately this invisible magic powder doesn't seem to work anymore, so you can't trick your fellow adventures. Oh well.

Malaken shall grab the newly-found gem and stick it in one of the gargoyle's hands, whilst muttering some vague shamanistic stuff.

You put the (now clean) gem into the gargoyle's hand and start muttering.

Aaaand, I'm leaving. Hoists Hans over shoulder, heads toward pit area carefully to check that new door out.

Her Oh-Shit meter going off, Maximum quickly grabs Hans and runs out of the corridor.

Go to the busted door magma trap room but don't set foot inside. See if you can find obvious exits, traps, or gems from outside.

Right, so, this thing is probably really important if it's this hard to get.
Grab the gem, put it in my pocket, hope it doesn't kill me.
Start asking around for someone who knows detect magic.
