Pull out my katana and slash at anything that gets too close.

Draw my katana and get too close.

Tempted to join the pursuit, but I'm too curious about this three armed gargoyle.
So yeah, still just sticking three more gems into its hands.

Catch up with Hans to reform the Door Kickin' Duo. Help out where I can.

Keep MZ back, and stay back myself, in the cover of the doorway. Draw my bow and ready myself for combat. Attack any figures that attack our comrades.

Wait... I was going backwards!???!
Eh, it's the tomb of Horrors, I'm sure that there are worse fates in here than going through a series of boring rooms. Plus, now the sphere hallway is connected to the entrance in a way that doesn't involve sketchy teleportation.

Oh, thank Lolth.
So this room connects to the sphere hallway, right? I'm gonna go to the room with the three armed gargoyle. Play around with it a bit and push some more gems into its hands.

You place three more gems into the gargoyle's hands.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Brecan shall clamber out of the pit and chase down and attempt to capture one of the fleeing creatures, trapping it in the sack he carries if necessary.

AGNS will chase the figures!

Draw my katana and get too close.

Kadbot, now fully geared up again, will join the others in whatever they were doing.

Catch up with Hans to reform the Door Kickin' Duo. Help out where I can.

Keep MZ back, and stay back myself, in the cover of the doorway. Draw my bow and ready myself for combat. Attack any figures that attack our comrades.

Brecan, AGNS and Nikolai, accompanied by a slightly confused Kadbot, run into the corridor while Hans and Maximum stay back and provide covering fire or something. I dunno.

As the four brave adventurers rush forward, they see something truly horrifying.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Investigate all the pits for secret doors and treasure.

[16 + 5] In the third pit trap (ie the westernmost one) you find a secret door in the southern wall. You know what? Let me draw you a map. Maybe it'll make things clearer.

Spoiler: Brave Adventurers (click to show/hide)

The turn was delayed because I wait for more people played some actual D&D. Highlights of the secession include:
  • Acidic Land-Squids (which were not ridable)
  • Giant Ants (where were)
  • Accident immolation of goblins
  • Purposeful immolation of orcs
  • Sautéed mushrooms

Suddenly very glad I didn't go down there.
Okay, I'm gonna keep playing with the gargoyle, because that seems safe if expensive.
Three more gems and when it animates I try to talk to it. Just small talk to start out with. "Hi, I'm Javier. What's a gargoyle like you doing in a dungeon like this?" that sort of thing.
