Aegnor spared a glance above, before lowering his voice.
"There may be others above us. Be careful to not make too much noise.."

After his warning, Aegnor began to instead Search the ceiling, looking for any hidden ways above, instead of searching the walls.

The Recap:

1)  I'm surprised anyone stuck with me, my writing was atrocious.  I found so many errors in spelling and grammatically.  My only excuse is I was just getting used to not being on night shift anymore... even though I still am half-way used to it.
To counter that, I'm surprised anyone stuck with me in my work. I don't feel confident in my writing at all and people came back in nearly a year later!
...I'm still sorta self conscious about it.

Akari tapped Mordekhai on the shoulder, careful to keep her tail still with the other hand given the dusty dust in the air.
"I still have that bad feeling about-Oh huh, who left their doll down here? Looks dusty."

Slowly approach the doll; examine it first. Possibly sense around for any kind of feelings of the area.
Stop a bit from the doll and examine the area. Lightsources...?

"The door seems to emanate something evil, or at the very least, of inherent wrongness. I advise to stay away from it." Mordekhai warns the group as he starts to look around in order to search for any clues or secret passages.

In case a dungeon search is needed, stay away from the voodoo doll.

"Hey steve." You speak into the air.
>Yes?
"Could you guys also make a hamburger out of this arm when they cut it off? I wanted to eat it just for the sake of tasting it."
>That is horrible and disgusting. It will no doubt set you apart and create fear in your team mates. So of course.

Zealots and Demons, The Fall of a God, Turn 90:

Quote from: lawastooshort
Inspect the walls for hidden doors or compartments. Avoid the doll corner if possible...

[5]  You knock on the walls a bit listening for hollowness.  You manage to find a hidden compartment, about 1 cubic meter in size.  Inside is a box filled with various writings.  The writings are all at least half a century old.  Putting them aside for the moment you find a metal lockbox deeper inside the box.  [Hidden value roll] You find an antique stamp collection.  You are not learned enough to make an estimate of it's value but judging my the age of the papers surrounding it if these are all authentic you should be able to get a few gold coins easily.

Quote from: Ochita
Search the ceiling, looking for any hidden ways above

[6] You look up the ceiling.  You notice roots are starting to grow through the dirt ceiling.  Some dirt falls as you're looking and lands in your eye, you involuntarily yelp as you furiously try to dislodge the dirt.

Quote from: Tiruin
Slowly approach the doll; examine it first. Possibly sense around for any kind of feelings of the area.
Stop a bit from the doll and examine the area. Lightsources...?

[4] You walk towards the doll slightly, you feel yourself inexplicably drawn to pick it up but stop yourself and decide to check the area for magic again.  This doll's magical presence is overwhelming.  [2] The surrounding area offers you no further insight into the doll's nature or origins.  You don't see any light sources, but it's bright enough to see perfectly fine in here.  Wild magic at work you suppose.

Quote from: Caellath
In case a dungeon search is needed, stay away from the voodoo doll.

[4]  You as well search the dungeon.  You don't find anything of note however.  You look at the voodoo doll and briefly wonder as to why it's down here, perhaps the stack of writings might pose a clue, or given that you have no need to hunt for anything but Maria, perhaps it's better just to leave everything as it is.

Quote from: Zako A.I.
Head back up to the kitchen and make sure nobody gets down unhindered.

[4] You head back into the Kitchen.  All the cupboards seem to have opened themselves.  After having a quick look, you've found a small collection of pots and pans, a bucket, and a bag whose markings have long since faded into nothing.  You leave everything be for the moment.

Quote from: Fleur
Follow behind Kael

[3] Fleur shudders a little bit before heading up behind Kael.  "It is creepy down there, no?" Fleur says before noting the cupboards seem to have opened themselves.  "Then again, it appears to be just as strange up here."

Akari blinked, realizing several important facts as she stood in place, with eyes glancing everywhich way other than the doll.
...Kotodama?
"Wild Magic in the air. Deep set are we in its lair..."
The kitsune remembered several verses to still her mind from wandering and slowly backed off from the doll, facing its direction, and feeling her tail still. She was nervous.

What powers existed that compelled attraction?
"Someone left a doll here, and its rife with...energy."
Alert others to the find. Try to create a safeguard against wild energy around the self.

Go nearer to the doll, and consciously go against touching it. Examine what happens.

((Sorry for not replying, I just got a job interview today! Yay me!))

"Probably just the ghosts doing their thing. They were servant ghosts after all."

Carefully check what is inside the bag and if it's of any use, take it after quietly asking the ghosts for permission to do so. Leave the kitchen and head deeper into the manor.

((Quite alright, just thought I'd help a bit since there is literally nothing more to discover down there.  Also Tiruin that can't be determined by your current enchanting level.  Might want to change actions.))

Stash everything in my inventory and then go to the door and get ready to leave with everyone else.

Aegnor shook his head as he got the dirt right in his eyes. After a couple moments of frantic rubbing, he manasged to get most of the dirt out of his eyes, the rest of it soon washed by his eyes tearing up. Blinking away the last of the dirt, he rubbed his chin. "You'd think that after all this time, the dirt that would fall naturally already did.. Which probably means that something, or someone disturbed it, likely by walking above us."

Get ready to leave the dungeon.

Mordekhai looks at the ceiling, an action made easily noticeable due to the need of moving his helmet-covered head. "We should get moving now. We have a mission to undertake here and wasting any more time inside this dungeon with this doll is both counter-productive and possibly dangerous." The crusader nudges Akari's arm with an armored finger. "That includes you, Akari."

Move out of the dungeon, dragging Akari along if need be to prevent her from being mesmerized by the doll.

((Mordekhai is the bastion of sanity of the party, while Akari is the perpetually curious kitsune who just has to end up waking an elder god. Or something like that. Curiosity causing some kind of incident that causes insanity or something.))
