(*sigh* Well, whatever. You won't be seeing any more of them once you're done dealing with her, so don't worry about it.)

((I.. Wha... What? I mean that would be a hell of a way to burst into a meeting in a tavern, but still.))

(Not going to happen. She was never a LI prospect anyway; regardless of me cancelling this plot line, she was still going to disappear from the RTD once this introductory quest was done.)

((I supposed so, but the idea in itself was funny, as pointed out by Ochita. Aegnor, the calm elven healer, bursting into a meeting to make out with Fasha before being slapped and maybe stabbed by said woman.))

((Or maybe you both just see heresy where there is none.  Anywho, guess I got caught up with the wrong parts of the order, I'm sorry sir.  Given the group's hatred for people helping them, I'm wondering how the whole quest is going to turn out because not everyone helping them is as pure as the wind-driven snow.))

((I'm being cautious because Kael knows nothing about these guys, and they somehow have been watching them closely all the time. So it's understandable that he's just a bit paranoid about giving plans to a potentially deadly weapon to these people, at least by my point of view.))

Kael was silent for a moment before responding.

"Very well, I will honour our agreement. Tell me where she is and I'll give it to ya."

(@V-Norrec: Don't worry about it, I haven't elaborated on them very much to you so any misunderstandings on your part are my fault. Though I do agree that with the exception of Ochita the party is setting themselves up for failure by burning bridges before they even cross them.
@Zako: Well, like I said, you don't have to worry about them watching you any more. Since everyone seems to react with apathy or dislike to this angle I'm dropping it entirely.)

"I'm not an idiot, and I certainly don't trust you not to destroy the book just to spite me. You are a Zealot, and I've dealt with your kind enough to expect that level of boorish behavior. Hand me the book first, and then I'll tell you where she is." Fasha held out her hand. Honestly, I wish I'd dealt with this moronic troll first like I'd planned. Then neither of us would be wasting our time with this pointless exchange. At the very least the healer could have returned to me with it and we'd all be on our way, but of course the Zealots had to poke their stupid long noses into everything. I cannot wait to get out of this dump of a slum and back to the normal areas of the city.

Aegnor shifted uneasily from foot to foot, before nodding to Morde once, and heading into the tavern. Searching for both Tikan and Kael, along with the Elf. He had a feeling that from Kael's comment before, that somehow things would get.. Unsatisfactorily finished.

Attempt to intervene on the meeting.

((Hey, no one ever explained the order to Mordekhai either. If they told him it was something like keepers/protectors of all knowledge, he'd be less suspicious. However, no one that talked to Fasha explained to him what they are and he didn't try to discover by himself.

Edit: Unless, of course, they used that kind of "we know everything" talk that seems to be an attempt to intimidate people. If someone talked to you and said they know everything and are everywhere, you'd think it was a threat if they had a serious expression while saying so.))

((Ah, okay then.))

Aegnor notices the table with the 3, and deciding to directly go to the table, he sets a chair, and sits down. Turning to look at everyone, he sees that things are probably not going very well.
"Uh.. Greetings everyone. How is the meeting going?"

"Your ally here is living up to the Zealot reputation and threatening to destroy the journal," Fasha answered honestly.

Aegnor looked at Kael, and without even saying, or indicating anything, turned back to the listener.
"I see. Kael, please give her the diary." Turning to Kael, nodding slightly.

After a moment, Aegnor coolly looks back at the listener. "Now, can you tell us where maria is staying? To be honest, the sooner this is sorted out, the sooner all of us can get going to do what they need to do."
