"Hold on.. Let me try something.."

Slip out into the mob, and shout that the damned Troll was running towards the wall.

Process of action and reaction, including the conversion of mass into suitable forms...

Now this is one book I like! But...what reagents did it exactly need? Generic items?

Hmm,  probably may ask Mord or Tikan for aid in...

"This place is crystallized?! Where is everyone?" Akari said in surprise, before realizing the condition of her allies. "Wait, oops, sorry. I meant...why is this place crystallized?"

Begin the search of any reagents in the piles nearby - as well as any identifying marks of a bandit's use.

Zealots and Demons, Turn 71:  A Hidden Clue

Search around the rubble for anything of interest. Any indication a ship landed recently around here and any personal objects that may have been dropped.

Help Mordekhai search, concentrating on the outside of the dock.

[auto-fail]  Unsurprisingly, the area is lacking in most magical reagents such as demon blood, guano, diamond dust, Giant Spider Fangs, and Living Shadow.  Also plenty of herbs and plant extracts.  Somehow none of them are just laying around waiting to be found in the middle of nowhere.

[4]  Mordekhai looks around the inside, carefully making his way to the docking area.  Right away it's clear someone is here, and planning on leaving again soon.  There is a small boat covered up with a tarp.  [2]  You look through the boat, hoping to find any identifying marks, or something that might lead you in the right direction.  The whole thing is spotless though.  It's clear that whoever owns this boat, didn't want to be found.  [Int:  3]  You feel like something is in the area.  You go over in your mind all the different areas.  Six seem to stick out.  There still might be some kind of clue you missed on the boat, something may have been thrown away or disposed of in the area in one of the trash cans, somebody might have seen the people as they left, you'd probably have to scare them out of hiding and they might not be friendly though.  The other options are looking for some kind of tracks given the low number of visitors this place has had recently, maybe trying to get Akari to actually use her magic to help locate something, or just sitting at the boat and waiting to see what happens if you wait long enough.

[1]  You look around for some kind of clue outside.  As you look you accidentally knock over a pile of rubble onto a spider's egg clutch.  Normally, this wouldn't phaze you, but the mother spider begins running at you, anger in her eight eyes.  Thankfully it's a small spider and you're able to keep away from it just in case it was poisonous.  You make a note to yourself to be more careful, you never know what might happen here.  [Int: 1]  You Intuition gives you no special insight into the situation.

Quote from: Zako
Hide somewhere where I can't be seen easily and wait for the mob to leave then get going!
Quote from: Fleur
Make sure Aegnor doesn't get either brutally murdered or carried away with the mob.

[5]  Aegnor, through either sheer luck or hidden talent, slips seamlessly into the mob before screaming in his deepest voice trying to sound like some of the other mutants he's heard talking.  "Over there, he's running towards the Walls!"  Somehow it works and they all start running that way leaving Aegnor standing alone.  "I can't believe that actually worked."

[3]  Kael, heads over to an out of the way area, but it isn't long before Fleur signals that it is all clear.  Fleur heads out and huffs at Aegnor a bit.  "You should be more careful Monsieur Tinúviel.  Zose men could have easily turned on you.  Zat would not 'ave 'elped anyone.  We should get to ze watchtower quickly zough, before ze fools discover zey 'ave been 'ad a second time."  [Int: 3]  You feel a knot growing in your stomach.  You can't place why however.  You decide to let it go for the moment and turn your attentions to the task at hand.

Something was bothering him, itching in the back of his mind, like he had forgotten or missed something... Still, he couldn't place it right now and they had a job to do. He would just have to let his subconcious mull it over for him.

Mull over what's getting on my nerves while heading to the tower. Have I missed or forgotten something? Did something escape my notice somehow?

"We should examine the boat and the area with trash cans." Mordekhai said, slightly distracted but still keeping it low, as he moved back to the boat to check on it.

Examine the boat again.

Aegnor slipped though the crowd, weaving though here and there before shouting..

---

Aegnor shrugged a little bit, and shook his head slightly.
"Well, it worked, did it not..?"

Think on what could be causing this uneasiness, aside from the danger of a mob in the area.

[6]  You know something is on this boat... YOU KNOW IT!  You systematically deconstruct the boat piece by piece until only the pieces are left... you already found what you were looking for, but by the gods that boat will hide no more secrets from anyone!!!  You take a look at exactly what it is you acquired.

Captain, sorry about           (beyond recognition)            you'll find
(smugged)              We're to wait for a day, then      (illegible)
Here's a map.

You examine the map, it's pretty terrible.  You turn it around different ways seeing if it makes any more sense, then you realize this isn't a map TO the hideout, it's a map OF the hideout.  It doesn't help much with finding it, but you should be able to avoid the traps once you get there with this.

[3]  You empty the trash can and then put it back down, sifting through the heap.  You find a silver coin for some reason.  You begin trying to put the trash back, but the trash can seems to have refilled itself... this wild magic is strange sometimes.

((Such a powerful enchantment can't be cast at current skill level.  Rather than make you look foolish, go ahead and do a double action, I'm still working on the exact limits of enchantments per level as you requested, but suffice it to say being able to isolate and trace any and everyone via enchantment is too powerful at current level.))

Quote from: Fleur
Drag Aegnor with me to the Tower.

[5]  You go over it in your head.  Something just doesn't seem right... it's about Fleur, she just doesn't seem quite... herself.  More worried than pragmatic.  You've been in the city enough too have seen her around before, she just always seemed... and then it strikes you.  You're in an area filled with wild magic.  SHE MIGHT NOT BE FLEUR! [Roll to keep cool: 3] For the moment you act like everything is normal, though you start sweating underneath your armor.  Your movements a little more rigid.  You resolve to pull Aegnor to the side and tell him as soon as possible.

[3]  You have more important things to worry about, it's just the wild magic in the air and the nervousness of being on a mission like this getting to you (Aegnor).  You head to the towards the tower.  You see a couple of guards standing outside.  As you approach they look considerably more alert until they see the Troll with you.

"Heh, you must be the Troll that caused the commotion we've been hearing about.  Glad you made it through in one piece.  Now then, State your business."

[1]  Fleur seems to have faded into the shadows somewhere along the way.  Wherever she is, she isn't with you now.

((Didn't expect that one... NICE! I just need to think of a way to prove that she's not who she seems to be without getting into a fight first...))

Kael nodded and approached casually, deciding to focus on the current task and deal with Fleur afterwards.

"Yes, it's been somewhat hard getting here, I got attacked for no reason then later I was thanked by people from the same mob for being a good influence!

Anyway, I am currently investigating a small series of murders, nothing really big but still needing to be done, and I have been led to believe that a source of information that could help in these murders could be found here. I believe that ya currently have an As'Ci'Til as a prisoner here, one who has a diary I've been told? I would like to see this diary, so I can make a good choice on what to do next."

Mordekhai smiled as he found the map. Not quite the jackpot, but still pretty useful.
"Fine, now that this is done, let's look for these 'wicknesses'."

A good chance to avoid needing any favors from any obscure cult...He really needed to make the most of it lest he got tangled with these shadowy organizations. He knew how these groups worked, and he was not interested in being their puppet in exchange for information.

Search for the aforementioned presence of the creatures who might have seen what has happened around the docks.

[4]  "Oh, him... I don't envy you.  Watch out, he's a biter and none to friendly in the mornings.  If he's missin' a few teeth when you leave though... well I wouldn't know who did it now would I?" he says standing to the side to let you pass.

"May I join him? As he said, this matter is important, and I'm this guys partner, strictly in the sense of work. We're working together on these murders."

Aegnor waited until the guards replied, standing to attention, and gives a small nod.
