((Wait, really? Man I must've missed that, and I even checked to see if we learnt about her name! I'll have to change my action then. Plus all of that RP too urrrgh.))

Aegnor blinked. It almost felt like he was repeating something that he did earlier.. Shaking off that feeling, he remembers that name.

"Maria.. Maria... Oh. I know her. Listen, Fleur. I'll need to collect some extra potion ingredients, but I'm still coming with you. If you wait outside the hospital, I'll join you. She's not weak, Fleur."

Nodding goodbye, Aegnor kind of runs over to where Mordekhai was last, apon seeing the curtain raised, he peeks his head in, eyes REALLY closed. "Morde, I kinda need your help with something private, are you decent?"

"I'm getting myself dressed! It is a bit difficult, you know." Mordekhai answered, closing the curtain once again over Aegnor's face. Even with his eyes closed, the healer could inadvertently open the curtain enough for more people to see him changing, after all.

"Can't you say or whisper what you want to talk about near the curtain? I'll be done shortly here." the crusader said in a hushed whisper through the cloth protection.

Aegnor stepped back as the cloth curtain was shoved past his face. Deciding to at least shuffle to the other side, away from the party, he whispers though the curtain. "Morde, firstly. How are you not even dressed, and more importantly. Maria."

Letting that word sink in for a minute, Aegnor continued. "Fleur, our nurse. She has to fight Maria, and while its a tricky situation, I really need everyone's help. I'm going to be making some potions, and then I'll be leaving to fight Maria with fleur. I'm also asking that you convince the party to do this, because you're a lot more charismatic then me."

Aegnor coughed slightly, waiting to see if Mordehkai had any objections to everything.

((Y'know...I'm wondering if the lad lived from the accident.

:3))

Noticing the lull in conversation - Fleur was probably attending to the rest, Akari pulled back the curtains and lay on her bed. Thinking she could help with the free time a bit.

As he struggled to put his underwear on (at least they got the size right), he heard Aegnor talking about the pirate, immediately piquing his attention. Maria...The female pirate captain.

"Understood." Mordekhai knew how much of a threat Maria was. Unless Fleur secretly happened to be a master of some form of combat she was in great danger. "I'll convince the rest of the group to join us. I wanted a duel, but she's just too strong for me at the moment and the sooner a criminal is out of the streets, the better."

Although something poked him at the back of his mind... "Let's try to subdue her without lethal force, like I did back at the ship. I want to know the reasons behind all this situation, and we can get more useful information from her this time. Our last encounter was less than productive."

Zealots and Demons, Turn 54:  A Turn of Conversations

Quote from: Zako
Keep listening to this interesting conversation about the sewers. Think about why someone wants to go down there regularly.

[5]  You don't have to wait long until the conversation naturally drifts to that topic.

But why would people be going into the sewers anyhow.

They say the people are looking for a way to break into the Halls of the Dead underneath the Keep.  I find it highly unlikely though.  There's nothing in the Halls but memories and urns.

Maybe there is some kind of meeting place down there, secret society and all that sort of thing.

Don't tell me you actually believe that garbage.  Look, I've lived here all my life, if there was ever a city for clean living, it's Durant.  Too cold out here to mess around with anything else.

Whatever, anyhow, about my order.

Yeah, yeah, another hundred throwing blades right here.  Give me a little more notice next time.

No promises, but thanks.

As soon as the transaction is completed the human takes the box, turns around and walks away.  You try to follow him with your eyes but he disappears into the crowd.  You never really got a good look at him even.

((Orange voice is the human, green is the Draconian.))

Quote from: lawastooshort
Put on my clothes, conceal my knife, and then walk outside for a while in the snow. Afterwards, search for someone who is investigating the airship crash to see if they have any idea who is responsible.

[1]  You manage to put on your clothes, and a nice thick jacket over it.  You think about putting on thicker pants but it can't be that bad.  You step outside for five minutes and walk around, you quickly come back inside the hospital though and put on the thicker pants, it is definitely that cold.  Winter in the mountains is atrocious you decide.  You've also reached the conclusion that you wish the airship would have made it to the tropics of the Broken Isles.  Sure, it may be so hot that you want to take all your clothes off, but it's better than being so cold you can't put enough clothes on.

Quote from: Caellath
Mordekhai just wears his clothing.

[free-action]  You manage to get your clothing on.  Nice thick clothing, you feel warm already!

Quote from: Ochita
Make from the following: Sleep potions and a couple of potions of healing.

[2] [2] [4]  You use up most of the supplies left in your box.  You sigh realizing it's about time to get a new one.  Most of the potions are incredibly weak or just don't work, one of your healing potions is passible though.

Quote from: Tiruin
Conjuring up...something akin to a smoke bomb!

[3]  You sit around playing with your magic while Fleur attempts to make sense of your spellbook.  You try creating a smoke bomb, the best you get are a few pellets that create a cloud of odd-smelling dust though.  Better than nothing.

Quote from: Fleur
Attempt to read the Kitsune's spellbook.

[4] "From what I can tell, 'zis book describes ze creation of new spells from raw mana.  A useful skill to be sure, for you anyhow.  Also, look 'ere, in ze margins, ze previous owner, at least I assume it is not your hand writing in ze margins, far too boxy and masculine for one of your kind I fancy.  Alas, I distract from ze true issue, ze margins contain notes on summoning rituals.  It mentions not only ze demons and angels zat so many focus on, but also on summoning from other realms, for example." Fleur says turning to a particular page she was holding the place of.  "'ere, it is mentioning somezing 'e calls 'ze shadow world' a concept with which I am not familiar.  And 'ere, 'e mentions a zing called Tribalum.  I 'ave never 'eard of such a 'zing, but ze book says it is a creature made to 'unt zose with magic energy.  I do not 'ow you came into possession of zis book, I would be very careful with it though, some of zese notes in ze margin are. . . not for ze faint of 'eart."

Akari peered through the curtains to give Fleur a nice thank you, after carefully stowing away her new pellets. She made a mental note to improve her concentration, or she would never repay her saviors at this rate!

"Thanks so much Fleur! I'll keep that in mind," she added, taking the book back while comparing her own handwriting. Her own seemed much more fluid though. Hmm...

"Since we've got more time, why don't we all go for a walk outside? I'd like to sample the fresh air of the land, having been in the airship for quite some time. Miss Fleur, do you mind if I go with Sir Aegnor and Sir Mordekhai for a stroll if they'd like?"

Curious... Most curious... Why would someone want to go into the sewers indeed? Clearly someone was hiding something, but what it could be was beyond Kael. He decided to head back to the hospital and help those newly awoken paitents find their bearings, they'd probably be somewhat anxious to get out of the hospital by now.

Head back to the others and show them around town wherever they want to go. Be generally helpful and nice.

Aegnor coughs slightly. "I'm sorry, but I've got to do a couple of alchemy things. Here's that healing potion you wanted for your close friend by the way fleur. I'll expect you would want to give it to him as soon as possible?"

Shrugging, Aegnor takes off the uniform, and puts on the rest of his new clothing, wrapping the scarf around his face, leaving only a small bit of hair, and his eyes visable. Nodding goodbye, he stolls out though the hospital, pausing when outside. The sights of the snow and mountains momentarily stunning him. Smiling slightly under the hood, he decides to wait for fleur.

Give fleur healing potion, wait outside for her.

"We have been sleeping for too long. I think we should warm our muscles and walk around, but it seems Aegnor is leaving for himself." Mordekhai said, turning to Tikan. "You should come as well, Tikan. The more the merrier, as they say."

Making sure he had his back facing Fleur, he moved his eyebrows in a meaningful way. No, nothing naughty, but his serious stare spelled "Come with us, we need to talk about something." as he took Akari's soft hand and started to move to a more secluded corner of the hallway and away from the head nurse.

"We'll certainly need to warm our muscles if we go out in that infernal cold!"

Tikan looked about for another pair of pants and another cloak, and then headed outside with the others.

"Cold?" Akari said, looking at Tikan, "Don't tell me we're in one of those tradewinds...I just got used to being grounded and-

"Oh. That cold."

Looking out the window, with her nose touching the glass, Akari fell in love with the snowy landscape and the shifting patterns of light on the miniscule snowflakes. It was beautiful - she had never experienced snow.

Mordekhai spoke, and Akari nodded in return, her thoughts kept on the snowy expanse that was just feet away.

"We're going...out there?"

Squee at the Snow!

After making sure both Akari and Tikan were were dressed, Mordekhai dragged both outside as kindly as he could.
"Girls, we have a problem. Maria, the pirate captain that escaped at that time, is in town. Aegnor told me Fleur has to fight her for some reason and we need to help her. You remember how strong she was."

He gave both Tikan and Akari some breathing room, smiling. "I can't force you to come with me since you have just awoken from a two-days coma, but I'm going there. What do you say?"

((And then Fleur was probably a Hidden Badass.))

Whisper, Whisper...

"That was a coma to you? I guess you don't remember all the fun we had going through your memories. Your mind is an interesting place, more so now that I've moved in and settled down. I like this couch, by the way. It's the one you had in your living room as a child, the one you can't quite recall...hmm. Bright red pillows, like Roses.

It's very soft...feels like the home we never really had-the one we both lost."

Mordekhai feels a brief, but vivid sense of homesickness...

"M-Maria?!"

Akari's focus was shattered by the Pirate's name - she who had almost killed everyone, if not for...that one moment of luck and skill.

She also noticed that the others inside the hospital might've heard, so she added on in a nonchalant manner.

"Oh~ That Maria. So long since I've seen her, heh. Our good friend you mean? Yep!"

After awaiting the short seconds that gave quiet to the conversation, she continued, leaning closer to her friends. "Why does Fleur want to fight a pirate Captain? Especially one who broke the only livelihood I ever had? I mean- Those weapons! How they took the ship! Wait, don't tell me now, we can do that while we walk.

"I'm in. But only if Tikan is. And if she's not..."

Great, sidetracked.
"Err, then I'm still in!"

Added action: Follow the Mordekhai Plan!
